    They aren't nearly as bad as you make it sound. I've found that their healing is just fine when in healing stance (their late reaction time to healing in free stance has always been the same). The only level I'd consider them "bad" is lvl 60 to 61, since they're still at HW stats against SB mobs. I'm not sure how the enmity part is, since I've never bothered using it as a tank.

    As for food, I don't really think it's that much of an absurd amount. Feeding it 10 times through training at a chocobo stable for it to turn into the chocobo's favourite feed, and then it'll stick around until you decide to feed it a different non-krakka root feed.
    That said, a nice QoL change would be to be able to summon the chocobo with (for example) a curiel root, so I don't have to bring both gysahl greens and curiel roots.

    We're keen on it since the topic in question is on fixing up the companion chocobo, and there are plenty of players, myself included, that would enjoy seeing other mounts worked into the companion system.

    TLDR: If they plan to put more work into the companion system, this is one request that we have for it.

    Sorry if my playful approach wasn't good enough for you. On topic of the Chocobo companion, I already noted my regrets in going for a tank bird as it can no longer hold aggro from me in content I can take him. That is a massive problem that needs addressing as it fully defeats the purpose of going for the tank skills.

    This is trying to improve the chocobo its self, not making it interchangeable with other mounts like has been suggested in multiple other threads. It's improving what's already there/has been confirmed that will be there, not making them add something that isn't there at all. And as I said before, there's been multiple threads in the past that were about giving us different things besides the chocobo to fight with us in combat, plus this would take much more work than what I've suggested.

    I'm all for this idea. More often than not the thirty minute timer just is not that great when you're focused and while they are adding the timer to the chocobo to see when its about up it still would be nice to have the option of having it around for more than the thirty.

    what they need to do is remove the timer completely, make it so when you use a Gysahl Green the chocobo will stay summoned untill you dismiss it manually or you log off, you will still need Gysahl Greens but will no longer have to worry about the timer

    not sure if anyone else has mentioned this yet or not didnt feel like reading 3 pages to find out

    Or just remove Gysahl Greens and make summon chocobo cost gil directly. Make it cost like 1k gil per summon and make it last indefinitely. The 3 chocobo food should summon our feather friend directly with the respective buff if it happens to be their favorite food.
