There isn't really a best time -- most people don't do Diadem anymore. Your best bet would be to beg some FC members to come with you and help you complete the FATE that potentially awards the hawk minion.

Personally diadem is completely useless and I have no clue what SE was thinking adding this content into the game... ������ No one does it anymore too.

It seemed designed to last 1 patch because the rewards didn't get updated to stay relevant to lv70 players. If the Emergency Mission pops it needs like 40+ people to clear comfortably which would be impossible to arrange now. Personally I quite like Diadem but it's hard on my datacenter to even recruit a few people for something other than dungeons, like treasure maps.

I think they should update Diadem every patch and make the best weapon come from there like they did when it was re released. It will piss some people off, but it'll keep it relevant. I wanted to be able to beat the Emergency fight before Diadem died off, but only fought it once and failed. I also liked Diadem, but they never keep it relevant.

I wouldn't say a "Your map your drop" system, but what about a "Your map, only you can roll need on it" system? That way if you don't want it, at least someone else can roll for it (and you don't have to faff about with trading and such). Like I tend to pass on most things on the treasure maps (when I run them with friends), but if Nagxian Silk drops, I want it!
