Faerie Apples are Emerald Moss, sweet spot +2, strike dead center. Here ya go, click "Gathered" to see.
I'm going to hijack this thread to also ask if there is a master list of what drops what (like meats and such)?
Probably not at the moment since CUL is by far the least loved class atm. However most of the 'odd' items tend to be btn off-hand and/or NPC only. Also, I'd hold off on greater efforts to create a master list only because CUL is getting a major overhaul and recipe changes with patch 1.21.Faerie Apples are Emerald Moss, sweet spot +2, strike dead center. As a botanist recently dabbling in CUL, I would strongly suggest that you just buy them from an NPC. Faerie apples are surprisingly rare gathering results, and you can probably end up with more apples by just... gathering anything somewhere else, NPCing the results, and buying your apples.
lvl 20 local leves give these by the dozens, and its a good way of boosting your achievement count. ive gotten stacks of apples this way, and plan on getting plenty more, hope this helped (even a bushlil) ;p
ALSO: did anyone notice the description says grown in the cool places of coerthas? yet not a single apple grows there.. hmmmmmm
Gennario Veltaine: Propieter of G&J's Pleather Pleasures
I go to Cassie Hollow, in the eastern part past where Unknown Soldier spawns, there's a cave with lvl 30 Pirates. They drop the apples, black pepper, and Mustard (and Hawkbill Shells).
It's faster then trying to chop trees for em, and the black pepper is a nice bonus.
Opo opo drop them too and a decent rate.
And since Rukkirii is no longer one it's is now fine to kill them.
You can find large amounts of them near Tranquil and near the gate to Coerthas, well all over the Black Shroud.
I like frog
When I was leveling my CUL, I farmed apples off of pirates located south of Camp Bald Knoll in La Noscea. Can't confirm if that's still the case post 1.21.
