The Free Company That Feels Like a Home

This is Lynx Katrell reporting to you on the revitalization of House Aynvals. Headmaster and Free Company founder Austherus Aynvals has given his blessing to the new head of the Free Company, Evalily Listen, in light of the many adventures in his homeland, sadly, drawing him away from Eorzea.

House Aynvals may boast a mansion, an assortment of crafting stations and a humble fleet of airships, but they pale in comparison to the camaraderie and cooperation of its members, the family who slowly built it up. Evalily Listen recalls the Free Company's humble origins which drew her and so many others to it.

"What drew me to House Aynvals was the friendly atmosphere. There was a little lalafell girl named Nanai who was outside the House Aynvals manor, waving and greeting everyone passing by. Nanai is no longer with the Free Company as she left Eorzea for other realms but I still view her as my example of how to be a friendly representative of the Free Company. Back when Two and I joined, there were only about four other people total in the Free Company, but with them we developed a group who liked to help others and have fun."

House Aynvals is a quiet place these days, with many of its members having been drawn away by life. But all that is going to change. We stand on the cusp of a revitalized House Aynvals. A place where no matter your level, what class you play, or where you are in the story, you are always welcome and you will always find someone happy to help you or just to hang out and visit with. If you are looking for a great family to belong to, you can’t do much better than House Aynvals.

Perhaps Austherus said it best when musing on the house he helped to raise and the family that filled it.

“I guess, we were just the right group of people. A small group, likeminded, and that could understand each other easily. There was no need to prove anything to anyone, we could just log in and be ourselves, even if sometimes a bit too silly (in my case <_<), without worry.”

Austherus we are sorry to see you go and we will all miss you. Thank you for starting the traditions that make House Aynvals great.
