So who pays for the child support when the couple breaks up? Shared custody?

What happens to the child when the house gets demolished? Do they track you down and throw a tantrum about sleeping on the streets? Do we get to chuck them into an orphanage?

Do we get to drag them around with us so they can see us butcher people & monsters?

Do we get to put them to work and take all the money they earn?

Will they get sick if we don't change their diapers?

Will they die if we don't feed them or give them something to eat?

If they really add Adoptation system then they must add new DOH "Attorney" as well.

This doesn’t seem practical in any way and I’m actually surprised some have said that the children could act as retainers. If such a system is to be used in this way, just ask for a free retainer instead

Ragnarok Online had a player adoption system (as far as I can tell anyway, going off the wikis, since I've never played it myself). It had a few caveats though, like if you adopted a player they couldn't get married themselves, you had to be married to adopt a player, etc. There is precedent of it in an MMORPG setting. Now, whether or not it would work here remains to be seen, but I think if they implemented it, it'd have to work through that sort of system. But what rewards would there be for adopting? Since there's rewards for getting married, what about for adoption? RO had a system where teleports were freely available AFAIK. Perhaps that could be a guideline?
