Being able to practice your battle actions, combos, etc. on dummies would indeed be very useful!
Let us know what you guys think about it and we'll pass it along.

I think it would be useful to have dummies that are able to attack if needed with physical/elemental/magic/status attacks so that we we can test out defensive abilities and armor.
I think the test dummy idea is too basic and short changed for what this COULD be.
Instead of just a dummy, all arena fights should be scripted and botted by SE so players can "TEST" their role/strategy solo player, and obviously the battle will yield 0 rewards.
Arena loads a winning situation thats scripted with 8 NPC players, the PC player replaces one of those NPC players with their class. (The script uses at least one of each class in the game).
They can repeat the training unlimited times instantly. This might help some of the.....newbies join a party for a summon battle with experienced players and do exactly what they need :/. Or someone thats bored have something to do. arena dummy/combat training, think about it.
If you could just "practice" absolute virtue 100 times in a winning situation with 0 rewards, how many times do you think a Linkshell would have won it for real? probably a lot more!
To Simplify it, SE could make us, the players be the training dummys, instead of the above once a group wins, that is recorded by SE. The player can that re-participate in a recording of a group that won as a trainee with the group in the recording being "ghosts" repeating the actions. Say like the past 10 recorded wins a , recorded, then a player can replay those but "participate".
Its like watching a video of the fight on youtube but being it to see if what they do will work.

Definitely a want. We see all these training grounds in the guilds yet we can't practice on them. Also, would be much easier to test combo and macros on.
It can wait for 2.0 though, no hurry.
I prefer it slow and awesome than fast and cumbersome.
LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
(Marvelous economics IQ test!)
Ah ... Jolly Ol' Spekkio, how I have missed thee. I would not mind having access to such a trainer again. Or a Ma'at type of trainer too.

Please just not 1 dummy though, have something like this:
L30 Dummy
L40 Dummy
L50 Dummy
L60 Dummy
L60 "High" Dummy (boss defensive stats)
This way we can measure gear changes and which is better for which scenario
Except that...
The L30 Dummy doesnt have same: stats/resistances/bonuses/debuffs/buffs as L30 mob thus providing an inaccurate representation of how good the gear (only gear with damage increase as dummys dont hit you back or do magic) or how good a weapon is.

Not to mention all would be hugely inaccurate to what every Notorious Monster and Primal do.
So I think people are missing things and just want it implemented without realizing its possible purpose is very difficult and like most games (swtor....aion....) it just boils down to 2 uses: 1. Quests on dummys, 2. Seeing how fancy your new skill looks.
