Reducing my level

Thats not what I meant, I meant that you would rather the devs spend time creating this feature than you spending a short play session getting your classes from level 19 to level 30 (something which could literally be done in a play session or two these days)

I don't want the devs to do this. That's not what I'm saying at all. All I'm saying is if the feature was already there, I would rather delevel to get jobs even that I don't care to play any more, that way there isn't the mental gremlin always there telling me to.
