Very true! The screenshots look great as well, when I saw them I was instantly excited so I can't wait to see whats in store. I usually stay behind when finishing an instance anyway so I will try to explore and take in what I can during that time!![]()

When the info first leaked I read it as being an actual explorable city complete with a sewer system. I don't like raiding in general due to drama forming and keeping parties together. Maybe, I hope this ends up good enough to make me wanna do the raid. That doesn't help that its designed as an instance dungeon/raid, its nothing like being a city state with outside areas. I think its awesome we are getting it though don't get me wrong but its a shame yet another whole region like place is getting cut to fit the normal hallway like raids we have gotten in the past. Exploring it as an undersized group doesn't make it feel any better.

I was imagining earlier that if they were going to implement Dancer, it would be nice to make it as a second job after Pugilist (like they did with Arcanist) so we will have Dancer and Monk that come from Pugilist, since they're both so similar. Monk being the melee DPS and Dancer being the melee healer.

Personally I like the new dungeon gear, I think both the concept art and the execution are fantastic. The Drowned City of Skalla is pretty cool to see as well, back when I first saw the sunken ruins in the Lochs I wondered what it really was, sunken ruins of a war-torn Ala Mhigo or something else? Rabanastre is cool, but I'm way more excited for the story surrounding it. Hoping future 24-man raid content feature a location from FFT, such as Orbonne Monastery or Limberry Castle.

I'll probably end up taking loads of screenshots with /gpose after finishing the instance.
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥

The gear is hideous, and it will horribly clip with almost every single hairstyle besides extremely short boyish/tomboyish hair.
I liked the art of the winner set but the implementation is not that great. It still looks fine with the healer but the other versions are just horrible imo. If the black one (why was it necessary to give one job a black one?) is the caster version than at least this means that I wont have to farm the dungeon for gear..which means another one time only dungeon..
Also kinda waiting when we will get the new and exiting content, which was the reason we lost a dungeon. Super savage is nice for the raiders but I truly hoped that this means that we will get the new content in the patch that is missing a dungeon and not somewhere in the future. :/
Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX Q&A Summary (10/30/2013)
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.

So 24man raid gear is inspired by the healer winner... feels like SE is getting real lazy here. I expected contest winner to be crafted gear instead of the WoD bis, or tomestone at the least... SE could have just said that they're taking a 2 year break when releasing Stormblood, it would have been the same. No work for the 2 first savage fight, no work on gear, no work at all for ex primals to feel like ex primals, and 1 dungeon less for nothing more...
SE already said (sadly) that they will never release classes outside expansions, so as much as I want to see a Dancer (melee healer please) in patch 4.3/4.4, I dont think it will happen.
