Delicious clipping on those sets, at this point they should give the option of being bald to every races. 8/

Seems the excitement for contest winner gear dies down once its actually added to the game. The tank set had almost as much disappointment as this.
Oh hey nothing was here
I will have to +1 this opinion as well. I'm fairly confident that's the new dungeon set, I don't believe they'd ever make raid sets that similar to one another.
Going a step further I'm going to guess the new dungeon set will be i305-i315 and will be a way to help newer 70's catch up a little faster.
The appeal of the original healer set concept was the cute puffy-tight 1 piece top+skirt. They made it into an open stiff skirt no different than any other skirt in the game, and the set lost its charm (at least in my opinion). I wonder how a contest winner would feel when their design is made into yet another generic looking set and rewarded as trash dungeon set that no one would use instead of tome gear or something. This has me in fear of disappointment for the caster winner. If they changed a puffy skirt just because it was probably easier, the caster set would either totally change its design or become another disappointment.![]()

I knew it would happen, but the male version of the contest gear not having the gap between the top and the legs to show some skin disappoints me. Oh well. I like the overall look of it, despite that. Wasn't my favourite entry but it doesn't look too bad. Definitely different from long robe/dress #53234123 at least. Hope it has dye options...
Really not looking forward to diving into the Lochs for yet another underwater trek. SE PLS. Dungeon looks neat though, hope it's like Shisui where I can just conveniently ignore where it's supposed to be situated if I want to.
I was actually very psyched for the healer design contest winner, and I'm still excited to get the set in game. Same for potential hints towards Dancer and the raid in general. 24-man raids are some of my favourite content in the game, so this is going to be a long two+ weeks!

Hated the contest winner when it was announced and still hate it. Thank the Twelve for glam if this has stats that are even remotely worth using it.
Tastes may differ, but good design is good and bad is bad regardless. It's not entirely subjective. You can't please everyone.
Literally every time we see a preview of new gear people come in to say that they dislike it. That's fine - but people aren't going to like every piece of gear in the game. Tastes differ. There's also a good chance that even if you dislike certain parts of a set others can be combined elsewhere to create a look that works for those speaking out against the set in question.
It baffles me that more people don't look at things that way.
Everyone has their reasons. For me, I hate glamouring. The glamour system this game uses is so convoluted, and user-unfriendly that I hate doing it, even if I like the results. And you have to re-glamour all the freaking time. Any gear set that simply works as is is a godsend, for me personally. Every crappy set just makes me face palm. Need to make/buy prisms, obtain from storage the gear I want to glamour from, then likely dye it all over again. Then if I'm glamouring from class specific gear, I need to decide which class gets the glamour. In those cases especially, I'm praying that the gear looks good, because I can't glamour that away. It's such a pita.
Glamour isn't the solution to poorly designed gear. Every single piece of gear should be able to stand on it's own.

I really like the group art at the end.
