Glamour system

Hello comrades!

I'm sure this has been posted before, but I'll post it again.

Why do I have to have the item whose skin I want to duplicate in my inventory? Most other MMO's have a system where the skin is unlocked once you get the item, and you can then sell it and still glamour it (WoW, Rift GW2 (if I remember correctly)). This is far superior to the system in this game, and saves storage space.

I agree, I think SE should introduce a kind of equipment log and use this log for the glamor system.

Yes please. i have 1 entire retainer holding all my glamour stuff. please make it like wow's system.

They can't though due to how the game is programmed, specifically how the client handles equipment appearance - the game was actually not originally coded with glamour in mind and was something added in a later patch which they had to use a work around to accomplish.

SE have admitted it is potentially possible to change it, but that they are very reluctant to due to the aforementioned programming issue and that it would potentially affect how the rest of the game is programmed and so would consume a lot of development time and resources to accomplish. Thus it's highly unlikely you will see this changed I'm afraid, at least not in the foreseeable future.

What about a special bank or something, where the visuals of the items stored there are available wherver you are? Sort ot like the Void storage in WoW. That way we won't clutter our inventories.
