Why am I still having to use a Ping service to play your game?

Qatars ping is around 160-170 without VPN service.
I'm getting between 120 - 140 with VPN (Using battleping).

Checked my VPN, I get about 110-120 with VPN, slightly inflated my numbers, but it is awful without a VPN.

I'm getting around 60-90 MS. Sweden to EU datacenter (Germany i think?)

I play at 250ms. It's noticeable, but not at all impossible to play; you just have to be ready to drop everything and move that much faster (which is part of why I keep nagging them to allow undersized/not unsynced for current content so I can figure out timing for phases in advance of joining an actual group). I play with a bunch of other people with equally bad pings too so it's not like they're carrying me. It's fun playing at Fan Fest or other events and feeling as though you're cheating because you have (what feels like) hours to do mechanics.
