When dps dont aoe should they just get kicked from the start?

I have a specific way I play my bard. In general, I try to save up my cooldowns on the pull before a boss, so I can use them on the boss. AoE uses massively more TP then single target attacks and my tp regens might be on cooldown still when we hit the boss. There are also other effects that play on your party as well. different dps jobs work better with other dps jobs.

Unless you’re on the pull right before the boss, always use your cooldowns. For bard specifically, you should always be using Raging Strikes during Minuet, and you should always Barrage during that window. They’re all three on an 80 second cooldown, so again, not using them is a waste. You don’t really need to do a Savage opener on dungeon bosses anyways.

Raging + Minuet > DoT 3-4 mobs with Stormbite > Caustic Bite on one for Sidewinder > Pitch Perfect at 2 stacks for 3+ mobs (3 stacks for 1-2) > weaving in Rain of Death and Quick Nock = extreme BRD AOE.

Yes, and? I was only saying Dualcast doesn't make the spell GCD free like you could understand from the post I was quoting. Scatter spam does the same DPS regardless of Dualcast.

Considering so many RDMs opt to not Scatter spam because “it’s boring”, just expressing that regardless of how Dualcast works, Scatter spam is still better on 3+ mobs.

I actually know someone who outright refuses to use AoE skills as a DPS, it makes literally no sense and he has no good reason for being that way, and he gets kicked from dungeons for it on a daily basis, yet he continues to just abhor AoE skills for some reason. People like that are very strange to me, if you keep getting kicked for your crummy playstyle you'd think they'd learn that maybe they are the problem.

You expect people to learn? I've been trying to get people to learn stuff(not always game related - most of the time work related) for MONTHS...none of it takes.
