Increasing xp gained by dps classes in leveling dungeons

I'm quite tired of the "join a fc and make friends" answer. People play at odd times, or just don't want to pester anyone or whatever.

Tanks and healers don't need to join an fc to level fast. Why do dps have to?

Then don't make friends. Join social linkshells and ask in those if people want to run some roulettes, and you'll usually get a few takers.
Or Honestly.. make ONE friend who is a healer or tank and ride with them to dungeons.

You know why healers and tanks don't need an FC or large pool to ask from though? Because there are so few that want to actually be those classes due to one reason or another. If more people would become a tank or healer, and less just want to go straight dps, then DPS queues would be faster.. but that's not something anyone wants to do, so there's a surplus of DPS and a lack of Healers/Tanks by comparison.

because too many DPS won't / don't level tank/healer jobs.
also... there's actual need for different types of DPS ... melee/range/caster while tank and healer .... anything works.

this is why DPS has no friends.

on the other hand... my friends forces me to play DPS so they can play tank and healer... orz

Because that's what happens when you play a job that has high numbers and a limited amount of spots in a dungeon. . .

Btw. I main pld i332 and whm i320. Im not asking this strictly for myself to level MY other classes. It's a problem for a lot of dps. Having to beg in pf or pester fc members shouldn't be a requirement

It's not a requirement. DPS can just solo queue just like healers and tanks do.

What are you queueing for that takes an hour? I solo queued my blm to 70 last week and never waited more than 20 minutes.

That aside, what's your point? There are more dps than tanks and healers so there is a longer line of them to get into dungeons. If you want instant queues, get a tank/ healer friend or play tank/healer. You don't deserve more exp just because you waited in a line. And if you chose to stand around doing nothing while you waited, that's your problem, not anyone else's.

There are times where servers are more or less active. I have seen DPS queues on an off time take up to an hour. So no, not PvP....
