    Let's be honest, it's the repost of this legendary old stuff here, but with edits and new stuff. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...%28All-jobs%29

    <--- Introduction --->

    Well, I have already wrote in the discord channels I got, but, since this is the forum and it is for writing and giving some nice insight, I'll allow myself to be a bit more tedious here.

    My character name is somewhat funny as |'''''''| |'''''''| is. She has many names in her realm and all that. But people I raided with time ago, or those that adress me as a player usually go by the name "Neko", "Nameless" or "Shiro" any is fine. I have been playing this game since 2.1, living a few years in Zodiark, then going Odin for a small time, and finally being latest two years in Ragnarok

    As personal info, I have 27 years old and I'm from Spain. I'm working so my time is limited to the night during week, weekend is free though.

    <--- Some of my recent history and raiding concerns --->

    Well, I'm honestly not a fan of drama, so I rather avoid details. But I have been raiding these last two years, since Midas, with a group in Ragnarok. Some old friends in Ragnarok invited me there and I was really happy and we got some funny times and bla bla. But with the pass of them they are no longer here, and I don't have any reasons to keep standing a place where the raid leader has so little consideration to the point the healers-tanks, and even the two new DPS have more rights to have weapon and upgrades than me, who have been two years raiding with him. (It's not even the 10% of the whole tale anyways.)

    Fact is, I'm yet still a little RDM main with i329 despite 9 weeks of full raid and all that, we took our time to down O4S because, well, guess it, some people left and we had to adjust. Currently having 9 books of everything but the turn 3 (Used them) and still i329 hoping for some drops to buy so I can buy the rest. (I don't like to trust my really bad luck, I prefer to buy the remaining gear than to pick stuff and hope for one specific drop to appear.)

    To add a bit of salt to the recipe. It's truth I can't be a HC gamer because I work and I have some stuff to do, but I'm really competitive in what I do and I HATE to be crippled for the logs. They began to do speedruns and stuff even though I'm still i329, no hopes for me to get anything higher than 95% at the 10th week of this stuff, not even wasting potions now, for what?

    My inspiration to raid is and have always been to do the progression quick and fast (For a midcore standard) And once the stuff have been downed just farm the thing to gear all the jobs and enjoy the gaming experience. Then speedrun sometimes but when at least I'm full BiS or close to it.

    It seems for them that a true raider should love to wipe those 3 hours, 4 days per week for nothing, they say it's not for the logs. But, come on, we only raid for progression fun, for loot, or for logs, and I hate being forced to do log runs without having the proper means to get decent scores.

    <--- What I'm searching for --->

    I'm searching for a static group with all current content down. I don't mind the server anymore, I'm in Ragnarok, but we got an awesome new PF right now, right? Stuff got nice for this.

    However, I can't accept petitions of those static groups that have a FC-joining requirement attached to it. I'm currently in Angered FC and I love it, they are one of the reasons I don't plan to move from Ragnarok, even less to change Free Company.

    Synchronized with my schedules, I can raid all days from 20:00 to 2:00 (Server time)
    (This is an issue because it seems to be there some kind of non-written law that states the 90% of statics should start 19:00, that's my work official closing time. Sometimes I arrive home 19:30 or a bit later, but to be sure I prefer 20:00, after all the clients and the traffic are what dictates my arriving time.)

    I can raid whole afternoon during the weekends. Up from 14:00 to 2:00

    Due to a current burn out, I'd prefer to just raid 2-3 days per week, for farming stuff and perhaps trying some log runs or speedruns in-between. I don't mind all days in progression, however, I don't think I'd be willing to go all days for super savage stuff.

    <--- Game experience - why would you want me there --->
    (Let's be honest, some of you would not trust anything that are not numbers. Fine, here a few links, please take in mind I was shitty i325-7 for most of it, i329 latest 3 weeks. Didn't even bother to waste potions these latest weeks. )

    <- Adaptable, good learning curve, want to improve. ->

    I have always loved the concept behind every job in this game. And I could sum them all as, everyone are DPS!... In my mind, everyone are DPS, don't you agree?

    Point is, I have been using all the jobs and I quite enjoy it, I get comfy with each of them and I really like when there are new ones that I need to master or get comfy with. I like to learn and adapt to the static needs sometimes.

    But, the fact that I like to play with all jobs doesn't mean I enjoy raiding with all jobs. That's why I mainly run around on the DPS role. I have simply got either boring or tired experiences when raiding as healer and tank time ago, not in the mood for it.

    For example, with the tanks I'm that typical tank that starts to feel itchy when he has to use a tank stance. Tank stance is like dying for me in a sense, I need to DPS. So unless I mess up in something and need to go fully tank stance, I rarely use defiance, shield oath, bla bla. I like to have my tanks highly geared for pug content just so I can avoid using aggro combo when accompanying some FC people, it's really tedious having to aggro when there are decent DPS, can't withstand the aggro combos.

    As a healer it's more of the same, I have to depend on people not messing up, on having a perfect synchro with the other healer... So I can DPS all I can, definitely getting extra salty with healers so I'm not suitable to raid with them anymore.

    <- Experienced ->
    I have been raiding since....... A LOT?... Went with casuals for second coil, then a bit more serious in FCOB, and so on. In this content I have all downed and played as DRG for turn 1 to 4 exdeath. All turns with RDM.

    I have raided with almost all of the jobs in the past, but as already stated I feel more comfortable with DPS. Currently the ones I use the best are RDM and SAM, but nobody likes SAM, let's be honest, almost noone even takes RDM now except for progression.

    <- Midcore ->

    Let's be honest, if I'd not be working and I'd have all the time of the world, wouldn't mind to aim for those HC statics seeking for world first, europe first, bla bla. But as it is right now I'd be willing to play all the days during gear progression. Then 2-3 days for farming and wouldn't mind occasional FFLogs runs if having the gear for it and going serious.

    Due to current burn out, I doubt I'd be willing to spend more than 4 days for Ultimate Savage if that's the raid aim.

    <- Communicative ->

    We know it, communication is the key of success when raiding, is what makes your static progress quickly and maximize the efficacy. The first early steps of my raiding experience I was always that quiet guy, just hearing, my English was not enough after all....

    You have to take in mind I have been raiding two years with spanish people. That said, even though I write and read the English with ease, speaking it might be a bit of an issue, and especially hearing.

    I usually need to get used to everyone's voices and accents to try decipher what they say, it should be fine for callouts and simple stuff, but if you are to tell me the group's strats It'd be smoother to just write them out for now.

    As for programs, just like years ago, I still love Discord and its functionality. If the static is one of those that are yet using TS3 and those old stuff, welp, don't mind using it. (After all it's what my previous static have been using on anyways.)

    <- Raiding attitude->

    Raiding attitude is a set of common sense stuff you need for raiding... It could be shortened to 'don't be a dick' I guess... But, basically, I'm respectful toward my dear static comrades, with few exceptions I'm always ready and always there, arriving at the exact time of the raids. I take my main for raiding seriously, being the first job I gear, regardless of if I like other job more. I don't discuss strats or anything openly, if I have to say something, I suggest it to the leader in private, respect is very important after all.

    <- Dedication->

    FFXIV is the only MMO I'm playing, and, basically only game I have been playing these years. I'm the loyal type player, when I decide I like something I stuck there for years.... Apart, not having time enough to start splitting it into different games.

    When I raid, I like to go with my 100% and I like to give my best, always. But this is also a con, I don't like to give my best for 3 hours of meaningless wipe and stupid constant errors.

    <--- Cons, my bad stuff --->

    If I tell you that I'm the GOD of HYPERDEATH you won't believe it, right? Everyone have their bad stuff.

    If you managed to read it all, you must be thinking "So, where's the trick?" Well... I'm super sincere and honest and I can't say good stuff only from me without adding the bad stuff, uhm, right?...

    I have social anxiety, so, I tend to be like triple shy when meeting new people till get used to them. I talk less, and, of course, that also affects me when trialing... I go much much safer. This was an issue when trialing as tank or healer, but since I got as DPS it's not that much of one, would perhaps not risk in some strats until knowing perfectly how the group fares in those parts.

    I especially get nervous first times... My DPS performance can be lowered around 50% and I'm more worried about thoughts like "I'm the new one here...." "I'm the stranger..." "They are observing me with caution..."

    Also, the same learning curve I got has also the thing that... As well as I learn fast, I forget fast, and need two or three tries to 'remember' the old stuff... For example... I almost entirely forgot what's the stuff about from whole gobbiefolk raids. I just remembered the cool stuff like how I loved and hated A3S... Or how I had to do shitstrats with my NIN in A12S and LB the 99% of my time in Creator, etc.

    Due to time limitations, I can't afford to get into HUGE time sinks such as gathering and crafting are... If you check lodestone I have the crafters 60 and this time not even bothering much to level them up. It's in a sense because the world is now filled with "You-know-them" that gather and craft constantly, that really hypes me down, would not craft even if having the time for it.

    A bit greedy. One thing I love from raiding is that it's another way to gear up jobs, and, especially because I love them all. However, it's never enough, and, if a gear is not needed by the main of someone and is turned greedable, I'll greed it, soon or late I'll give it a use after all. In the static where I have been raiding, we got set the loots like this, you could loot anything for your main (And being caster included of course SMN and BLM book, even though being RDM) and then loot for 2nd and 3rd priority jobs. I don't know how's the deal with other statics.

    Competitive. I like to do what I do, and I like it to do it the best possible. If a strat screws my DPS or performance without a proper reason (Even more if there are better alternatives) I'll inform about it and show my concern regarding it. I get frustrated easily if I'm forced to do log runs when I have not the means for it (Such as a clear gear disadvantage towards most of the players). As well as if all the buffs, strats or whatever are headed to focus on buffing or padding someone. (I don't like padded runs even for myself, my dps has to be real, not artificial.)

    <--- Jobs I would love to raid with (And have optimized) --->

    RDM & BLM: RDM i329 is my current main and I really love it as much as SAM. BLM is also a funny interesting stuff to try to optimize, but not having real utility for the party I doubt I'd touch it. By the way, SMN do really exist? I guess it's that job I only use in PvP.

    (BLM is not optimized, I didn't even care to make or check for a good opener for it, not like anyone needs a BLM anyways.)

    SAM: i327 Of course this is just a "Would love to" I know nobody likes SAM. But it'd be fun to touch itsome day, I still use SAM a lot outside the content, just for fun. It's funny that my SAM being the 2nd priority got more stuff than my main, without using upgrades, scriptures, and things... D:

    <--- Jobs I wouldn't mind to raid with (Need optimization) --->

    MCH & BRD: Each of them have their own things, and I guess people would love them more than anything. But there's a thing that upsets me a little about ranged in current raid group... I don't have to smash my head in mechanics to try getting that one more GCD, thus, it'd seem MCH and BRD are really easy, all doing the same, repetitive. (And raiding is repetitive as hell by itself.)

    BRD's pro is that it's funnier and more "busy", but it relies in RNG a lot and I kinda dislike that. MCH still relies a little on it, but to a way lower degree. Both of these are i322-ish, only having two 340 pieces (And I didn't even care to check if BiS for any of them.)

    I'm conscious that nowadays everyone wants to go meta BRD-MCH. I can try but you might need patience to let me gear them and get used to it, at least I have some books that I couldn't simply use for my RDM yet. (9,9,5,6)

    MNK & DRG: Let's be honest, you only read "DRG" here, right? Well, I used it the first 3 turns and part of Exdeath in this content... But due to latency and gamepad issues I find it a struggle to use it properly. I don't have enough confidence to get good DPS with it right now, and it's still i320-ish just as it got stuck the first weeks. As for MNK, I raided time ago with it and it's i327, I loved it more time ago though, having fracture as a positional saver and extra TP consumption + not relying in RNG. (SAM is the new MNK)

    <--- Jobs I would NOT raid with (Need optimization) --->

    NIN: It was my main in Creator, and I suffered a lot of BS with it in my previous static. Having to do shitstrats, the LB in all the damn runs, even speedruns, etc... It was a pain to see that I had to delay TA sometimes for their sake, or go to LB that add in A12S all the damn time, always always. So it kind of demoralized me to know I could not achieve 100% percentile even if I was very confident of my NIN.

    Nowadays I didn't even use it much after 70 nor I think I could make it worth it DPS-wise.

    Healers & Tanks: I'm too greedy in DPS, not feeling like using these anytime soon, could be counterproductive for progression. It's also been two years since the latest time I healed in raid content, nowadays I only use them for speedcarry stuff through DF.

    If you don't mind having a tank asking for shadewalker, smoke bombs and all those things the whole time while being 100% in DPS stance, then I might be what you are searching for. Pay in mind I didn't raid with tank for a long time though.

    <--- Contact method --->

    Well, here comes some savage challenge. Contacting me; I don't check forums that often but I'll try to check this thread from time to time:

    - You can always try to find me around in Ragnarok by the name of |'''''''| |'''''''| (I mayus,L minus,they are 7, the original 8 one was taken here in Ragna by a random level 1 I hope someone deletes, ty.)

    - Discord. Or simply use Discord! You can add me with the following:
    Code:
