RDM dualcast consumed by Sprint?

Is this intended or bugged? When having a dualcast proc and activating Sprint, the proc gets consumed. Sprint isn't a spell that should "benefit" from DC, heck it's not even a spell, I see no logic in this. Anyone else noticed and might have an explanation? Should I file a bug report?

This is quite annoying. But likely it's working as intended.

No it is well known, and I think it has to dowith the fact that sprint is a "general" category action, and that category is counted as a regular spell (a GCD one).
Because battle oGCD and even role actions like swiftcast don't consume it.

I dunno if it's a bug, if it was forgotten, or wanted (but then why ?)

Dualcast trait reads dualcast is used up by any action other than abilities or auto attacks. Sprint, as much as it looks like it, is not an ability and fits on the description of something that consumes dual cast.

If you look at the tooltip for any action in question, if it does not say "Ability" under the name, it cancels or consumes Dualcast.
