Playing Healer

Tried to play healer in last two days.

First thing is, yes, the gap from the experienced is HUGE. I get easily lolsteamrolled.

I just learnt all the HP bar must be always full. Never slacking on heal that 2% missing. Another thing, I also have to choose who let die. When splitted pressure comes and I am not one involved, will just have to save both but when I see I clearly can not by incompetence or other reasons (as the pressured breaking los, good job!), will need to decide who save and I'll go for who have more medals then. But again, if a dps collected too much medals it become hard to keep alive.

So I'm in need of some hint. Obviously not everything, just the basics I need to understand (and master) before thinking to play decently an healer. Any help appreciated.

Another thing, I also have to choose who let die.

I let die 2 types of situation. One is missing LoS, either they out of range or hiding behind rocks.
Idk why people think it's good idea to avoid ranged by hiding instead of moving away.
Second type is the non-moving bard/mch. Seriously if they don't care about being hit they shouldn't get healed.

Probably because they can just follow you if you don't LoS them in some way(which actually causes them to have to get closer/pick another target). Yeah you should be smart about it, but it's not like they can't just come after you if you just run away.

Healing in SB is alot easier then it was before you could pretty much solo average healers as dps before, now with the removal of critical strikes the burst went to hell making it alot easier to predict and heal things.

I also been lolhealing in pvp lately since I gave up in the top 100 race.
The skill gap is a joke, healers either never die or die in a second (like me). I tried getting better but I find it so frustrating I just gave up entirely.

PS TO FLAMERS: If you will go through the trouble of making a new character in my server just so you can insult me, at least have the decency of staying and exchanging a few insults instead of throwing the rock and running away. :/
