Also OP, don't say you want to quit just because you met up with some douche ingame. Man up and learn to deal with those people like you would have to in real life, at an arcade, or any other online game.

But yeah, players who are ignorant to how the game works past a certain point, are constantly unprepared for fights, don't know how to work together to control aggro, break crowd control, and hold their group back = Bad players

Players who are elitist in the sense that they're all "I will only accept ARC x4 blah blah" when other classes are perfectly viable = Bad players who can't think for themselves.

I understand the need for some players to be special snowflakes and try their own thing, but just make sure it works first. Don't be the MNK/SMN from FFXI.
    Wrong.

People know that other classes work but choose not to use them because it is much more efficient not to. Its rather idiotic to call people bad players for doing things the more efficient way. If you are going to do random events with people who you are unsure about skill level. Its just more efficient to use a set up that's easy and works then just grab random classes of people who probably never done the fight or never won.

Well bad player for me is one that doesnt take the time to try several playing styles, one who doesnt ask anything to other players with same class, one who doesnt accepts tips from other players, one who doesnt care how to be useful and prefers leaving things to everyone else, people who think that are the best in the game and the worst those who prefer chatting or going afk when fighting a boss ><

a bad player is someone who doesn't try or moreover doesn't ask questions.
however, the worst player is one that has the knowledge and doesn't answer those questions.

A lot of you seem to be confusing a bad player with a jerk. Not all jerks are bad players, and most bad players are not jerks.

I could understand if you only wanted a class that dominantly excels at a specific role, but outside of THM DD (CON and GLA don't really have equals in their specific departments) I don't really think that exists in this game. All the melee DD classes are equally viable in this specific case, it's not a matter of efficiency. It's efficient in the sense that you follow the path that requires the least amount of creativity and skill, so people just "stick to wut works" and shut out players because they don't know any better.

is it just me or did you define a bad player as someone who gets several classes to 50 then uses the cross class ability allowed to customize thier class as a bad player.

What makes someone a bad player is their inability to learn, adapt, retain information and use it in battle. Has nothing to do if they want to put second wind on their lancer bar to get some extra hp sometimes.

If all the DD were truly equal in the sense you think they are. Class stacking wouldn't be in issue would it? It would not require more creativity and skill to do other set ups. The best Shells made up of arguably the most skill players use these strats because they are the most efficient. These are the people you are calling bad players.
