    Question to WARs with BiS

    Genji Axe, Genji Pants, full Lost Allagen else, Genji Neck(?), and full pentamelded accs.

    How does it feel? I did Arylia and it showed that, with this set up, I would be sitting at 700 skillspeed.

    Currently, for me, 1000ish skillspeed feels great, and I am a bit concerned about droping almost 300 SkS.

    To those already at BiS, how does it feel?

    I'm not quite bis yet (just need one more twine), but I'm sitting in the middle of the recommended recast time (2.41-2.46) and it feels perfectly fine to me. Back in midas I had a big drop in sks when I went from the lore axe to the 240 relic, and I adjusted pretty quickly. It's not really a huge deal.

    What's your burst rotation during Inner Release?
    I find myself having great trouble trying to execute 6 FCs, 2 Onslaught + Upheavel with my current 2.39 GCD because IR or Berserk wears off first. My GCD needs to be around 2.35 if I am to execute it properly without any problems.

    Heavy swing (berserk+inner release)->Fell cleave(Onslaught+upheaval)->Fell Cleave->Fell cleave->maim->storm's path->fell cleave->fell cleave->fell cleave (onslaught)->heavy swing

    Double weaving onslaught and upheaval isn't mandatory by any means and you can easily just push upheaval to the next ogcd.

    I'm not convinced that that set is BiS for WAR (not that there's really much difference at our current stat levels). Personally, I've been going for Critical Hit (http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/12ZFZ).

    As for Skill Speed, 2.44 GCD is serviceable, but I think 2.4-2.39 GCD is best. I wouldn't go any lower than that, however.

    Personally, I kept the Genji head and feet to keep a 2.4 GCD.
    I'm full 240 left and crafted right and I feel it'd be a waste to spend the creation and the twines for minor side upgrade.
    And I don't really feel much stonger than I was in full crafted pendamelded gear on week 1.
    Only the Genji axe made a nice difference.

    What even is BiS? I've seen a lot of people arguing over tenacity builds, crit builds, or a mix of SS/DET builds.

    Right now I'm running heavy tenacity with DH melds on the left for progression, and it's worked fine for me, but my other PLD tank hits close to my DPS numbers due to being pentamelded and more crit-det oriented

    according to xeno, it's full crit, which makes the genji pants not bis in his view. he argues dps gained from those big crit FCs override any dps lost when compared to other builds.

    This can be true if you're speedrunning, since it's basically killing something over and over again while optimizing strategies. In the end when the strategy has been optimized enough, the additional dps gain from further optimization is marginal, and it all comes down to rng (card draws, procs, crit/dh rate during burst phases). The shorter the fight is, the more bad/good rng affects your kill time.
