Quest List (main and side) in order?

I know there are main quest lists, but is there a comprehensive list somewhere that includes ALL the quests available in level order in order since so much of the game is linear?

As one is going thru the main questline completing a quest, it would sure be great to see what side quests might open up as a result of completing the quest. I just don't want to miss out on some quests just because I missed visiting a zone what had them available. I would like to make sure I get all the side quests done.

Maybe this kind of list doesn't exist, but if it does please include a link. Thanks.

When you say side quests i wonder exactly what you mean. For this game, we mostly divide the quests into 3 categories. There are Main Storyline Quests(obviously not what you mean), there are feature unlock quests, and there are side-story quests. The side-story quests give you a little exp, some more lore and understanding of the world, and maybe a bit of gear. The feature unlock quests open up new types of content and abilities within the game. So when you say "side quests" are you referring to everything that isnt a main quest, the unlock quests, or the side-story ones? The side-story quests are usually listed by zone(rather then comprehensively), and will have a level similar to that of the rest of the content in that zone 95% of the time. Ive never seen an "everything list". If its the unlocks in particular youre wondering about though, i have seen a list of those before. In general the largest number of them will happen at "cap levels", as those are where your character will spend a lot of their time. This list... here is accurate as of patch 3.3. So... 4 patches ago. Its also a lot to get started with.

Any side quests opening up due to completing quest (be it MSQ or sidequest) will almost always be in the zone where you completed the quest. So you just need to open the map after completing a quest and see if there are any new quest markers visible. It is done this way precisely to make sure people don't miss quests.

The exceptions would be level 50/60/70 quests - i.e. the quests intended for old or current end-game. Those will start in one of the major hubs (Gridania, Ul'dah, Limsa Lominsa, Mor Dhona, Idyllshire, and whatever the level 70 equivalent is)

I was referring to side story quests. I really prefer to "quest level" rather than grind my way doing leves or running around looking for fates. I rarely check the map after doing a quest but rush off to do the next one in line, so have probably missed a bunch. So I will try to remember always checking the map, although it would be pretty sweet if there were a list. You can certainly check the XIVDB database to see a specific quests pre-requisites and follow on quests, but not aware of a list.
