I was asking too much.
Since this has already all been like this for years.
In vain.

Woah hold your chocobos. I don't know what you are thinking but the world does not revolve around you.
The reason behind why there are JP Only is because they want to make sure that EVERYONE in the party can and able to speak/understand Japanese for mechanics explanation and coordination.
Can you imagine yourself in a party where the other 7 players speak french for example you know nothing of that language?
YOU ARE A LIABILITY!
I'm sorry but no Japanese i know of would want to carry you in the current raid window.
So it's either you pick up Japanese language make an effort to integrate or you find another "Eng" server in the JP DC.
Even though I reckon that a separate Oceania data centre would be a better solution than an English speaking server within the JP data centres (as cross realm parties will still end up mixed), I find your answer to this thread slightly laughable... For one, people who play in the European Data centres deal with having to do content with people speaking different languages every day and we all somehow manage to do the content just fine...
Well i did say for example to try to get my point across.
Since you play on EU and may or may not know how JP DC works.
I am not sure how NA/EU differs from one another BUT JP DC have a complete unique way of doing things.
Like using macros to post the strategy of the raid in chat. Using macros to coordinate in Frontlines. Different way of calling tanks in raid (MT and ST). Whenever entering an ID greetings and thanking each other for one's hardwork are to be expected.
While it may be laughable to you it's whole different culture over here.
So basically we have different way of thinking and JP DC have an attitude of if you can't integrate then they won't welcome you.
Edit: For people who are thinking why people are bashing OP PLEASE READ OP's comment again. OP is flat out DEMANDING and not asking what other English server out there OP can play in.

Yeah sure, it's true that having EU servers without EN/FR/DE tag is better. i always love ending in a deutsch party and being ignored when trying to communicate in english with them. The reason behind why there are JP Only is because they want to make sure that EVERYONE in the party can and able to speak/understand Japanese for mechanics explanation and coordination.

Yeah its us the evil germans who ignore players who write in english. Its not that most of the players ignore it if someones writing in chat in general.![]()
Well from my gaming experience most of the deutsch only speak deutsch between them even if you speak english to them in the same team. The funniest is when I only say one thing in french they tell me to speak english. people are funny.
I could say the same about most of the french players. But do i write about that in the way you do? No. Do i care if they write french? No. But you seem to have a serious issue with germans if you have to point it out that hard.
Unrelated and sorry for the off topic bump but how is the Chocobo server?
Tried Tonberry and didn't really like the community, Aegis my current server is chill but very small English population and while my Japanese is sufficient sometimes its hard to chat with words I dont know. I don't mind doing server hoping still trying to find my home but haven't heard much about chocobo.
It's as how Tinyredleaf has described. Chocobo is a raiding focused server like gilgamesh so there is a sort of no nonsense attitude. If you can't speak Japanese in raids it's instant kick/disband.Chocobo is almost entirely JP, with a tiny minority of EN players, most of whom are either bilingual or who, at the very least, don't carry the attitude that the entire world must revolve around English-speaking populations.
If an EN player is willing to integrate, there's a home here for them. If not, please look elsewhere. JP-only PF requests do occur here, so if that is what annoys such players, they won't feel welcome.
