Have ifrit stop attacking for 3 seconds or use sustain on the GCD, which will only heal 24% of his hp every 10 seconds... hrmmm. ._. Better off using garuda if you feel you have an incompetent party that can't do lightning markers. Start with ifrit and swift garuda as ifrit dies.

Why you ask for Sustain because you are to lazy to tell your pet onetime where it should stand ?

Sorry but many other Summoners are able to tell there pet where to stand.. why not you ?
The only reason i know why is cause someone is lazy, it is a fact that if you tell your pet where to stand like behind the boss or whereever that it is not dying.

And the dps lose is maybe 1 autoattack of the pet...
If there bring sustain back be happy if not you probably need to get your ass up and tell your pet where to stand.

this thread is starting to remind me of the early SMN "Get Gud Noob" posts by people who had really high end systems and connections when it came to pet problems. now these arent the same pet problems but having people come in and calling others lazy because they dont have problems is both rude and inappropriate and causes many long time players to not want to participate and give suggestions on how to fix problems. personally i feel Officer_Cat is trolling people and should be ignored.

yes we get it, not everyone is having problems, but there is a major pet problem some are having by pets dying when they shouldnt due to low physick healing and no Sustain.

Clearly the people that wanted Sustain far outweighed those whining that it wasn't needed. There was really nothing to lose by having it anyway, it's a completely optional action no different to healers that want to DPS. They don't have to, but it sure helps a lot when they do you know.

I think they initially removed Sustain because there were people too stupid to understand how Sustain actually worked. I mean, I've seen players spam Sustain thinking it's like Physick.

Well at least people will be able to have it if they need it.

Wasn't on my bar anyway because of, you know, healers and lack of threat on the pet's life in an overwhelming majority of cases, but it's back so there is no need to be grumpy about it anymore.
