Emote and macro question

Is it possible to put the gear changes into a macro so an emote can be added at the end of it to kind of give your job change an animated entry?

For example: When I change from WHM to SCH, I like to add the spectacles emote to present myself, so I hit the gear change on my crossbar, followed swiftly by my spectacles macro. I hope that makes sense. It'd be great if I can do both with a touch of a button.

I know we can macro gear changes, but how about gear sets? I dread the idea of having to update the macro everytime I change/upgrade gear, plus I like the sound effect when we change jobs.

I believe you're looking for something like this:

/macroicon "13" gearset <- any icon you want tbh
/gs change 13 <wait.1> <- pick the number of your sch gearset to change job
/spectacles motion

Instead of spectacles, you could try the battlepose or victorypose. One of them does the push up the glasses thing.

Cool beans, it works! I keep getting, "The command does not exist" but I've no idea what it's talking about as all three lines check out. But otherwise, it's perfect! Thanks again.

edit: nothing wrong with the macro provided. It kept telling me "The command does not exist" because I had an extra space in one of the lines. All good now!

An excellent suggestion. I'm still doing HW MSQ so I don't have these yet, but the other issue is the animation is too long. I just wanted a short and simple one. I made the same macro for my WHM, but use /respect instead of /spectacles. I would love to see other peeps do this though. It makes me curious which emotes players would use for their respective jobs.
