Blue Mage (BLU)
Absorption and Damage Conversion Healer
Weapon: Forks. Special forks that absorb and store enemy aether for the Blue Mage to use for their Magic

While practitioners of White and Black magicks use the aether surrounding them and those of the Red use their own, a Blue Mage instead takes aether from other living thing then either absorbs it for themselves or grants it to another.
The aether they absorb is converted into substances called Special Ingredients, which are used to fuel the user's more powerful Blue Magicks. There are two Special Ingredients: Aetheric Sugar and Aetheric Spice.
Aetheric Sugar is converted to be used for mending and supportive magick, while Aetheric Spice damages and erodes enemies.
Blue Mages are the masters of turning the enemies' loss into the party's gain, having magick that can convert damage into health or vice versa.
Special Mechanics
Special Ingredients
Concentrating the aether they steal from enemies, Blue Mages can create special ingredients to use as catalysts for their Blue Magick.
There are 2 types of ingredients, Aetheric Spice and Aetheric Sugar
Each type is gained by using different Spells, Weaponskills, and Abilities.
Spice deals with Offensive spells and abilities and Sugar deals with Supportive spells and abilities.
Players can hold up to 4 of either Ingredient at a time.
Special Ingredients are carried over into new locations.
Special Gauge(s): Blue Mage's Plate
The gauge is an ornate plate that has four slots, each one corresponding to one of the 4 Special Ingredients the user can have.
A slot will turn either Blue for Aetheric Sugar or Red for Aetheric Spice.
Skills, Spells, and Abilities
Basic Healing Spells and Abilities
- Life: Spell. Revive a selected target to weakened condition. 8 second cast time. 2.5 second recast.
- Magic Fruit: Spell. Heal a selected target. Additionally, Gain 1 Aetheric Sugar. Potency of 400. 2.5 second cast time. 2.5 second cooldown.
- Pollen: Spell. Heal a selected target. Additionally, Gain 1 Aetheric Sugar. Potency of 200. Instant cast time. 5 second cooldown.
- Wild Oats: Spell. For 21 seconds, whenever a selected partymember damages a selected target, they recover 25% of that damage as HP. Additionally, grant a 50% chance every time the effected deals critical damage that the user gains an Aetheric Sugar OR Aetheric Spice. Instant cast time. 25 second cooldown.
Healing and Supportive Blue Magick
- Angel's Snack: Ability. Uses 2 Aetheric Sugar. Removes a single detrimental effect from all partymembers with in 25 yalms of the user. Instant cast time. 60 second cooldown.
- Diamond Hide: Ability. Uses 4 Aetheric Sugar. Magically Link the user and a selected partymember. While linked, the user will absorb any damage (minus Damage-over-time and ground effect damage) the partymember receives equal to 50% of the user's Maximum HP. Additionally, damage the selected partymember receives will be decreased by 10%. Not all attacks can be absorbed. Duration: 10 seconds. Instant cast time. 180 second cooldown.
- Diffusion: Ability. Uses 4 Aetheric Sugar. Places a barrier on a selected partymember that will distribute the damage of the next Spell, Weaponskill, or Ability (excluding Damage-over-time effects) to hit them between the whole party (minus pets). Duration: 10 seconds. Instant cast time. 300 second cooldown.
- Mighty Guard: Ability. Uses 1 Aetheric Sugar. Decrease damage all partymembers with in 25 yalms of the user receive by 10% for 15 seconds. Instant cast time. 60 seconds cooldown.
- Plenilune Embrace: Ability. Uses 2 Aetheric Sugar and 1 Aetheric Spice. Place a Regen-effect on a selected target for 21 seconds. Additionally, damage all enemies with in 5 yalms of the affected equal to 50% of each Regen-tic. Potency of 200. Instant cast time. 120 second Cooldown.
- Vampire: Ability. Uses 1 Aetheric Sugar and 1 Aetheric Spice. For 12 seconds, whenever a partymember damages a selected target, convert 50% of that damage into HP for them. Instant cast time. 30 second cooldown.
- White Wind: Ability. Uses 1 Aetheric Sugar. Heals all partymembers with in 20 yalms of the user. Potency of 300. Instant cast time. 60 second cooldown.
Weaponskills and Physical Abilities
- Doink!: Weaponskill. Damage a selected target. Additionally, Gain 1 Aetheric Spice. Potency of 150. Instant cast time. 2.5 second cooldown.
- Flambe: Weaponskill. Damage all enemies with in a 5-yalm cone of the user. Gain 1 Aetheric Spice. Potency of 100. Instant cast time. 2.5 second cooldown.
- Queasyshroom: Weaponskill. Damage a selected target. Additionally, deal damage-over-time for 18 seconds. Can be preformed from long ranged. Potency of 50, 30 for the damge-over-time. Instant cast time. 2.5 second cooldown.
- Blood Drain: Ability. Damage a selected target, then restore 200 TP to the user. Can be preformed from long ranged. Potency of 100. Instant cast time. 15 second cooldown. Shares a cooldown with Drain Kiss.
- Devour: Ability. Damage a selected target, then convert 150% of that damage into HP for the user. Can be preformed from long ranged. Potency of 150. Instant cast time. 15 second cooldown.
- Drain Kiss: Ability. Damage a selected target, then restore 10% of the user's MP. Can be preformed from long ranged. Potency of 100. Instant cast time. 15 second cooldown. Shares a cooldown with Blood Drain.
Offensive Blue Magick
- Gastro-Acid: Ability. Uses 1 Aetheric Spice. Increase damage done onto a selected target by 5% for 30 seconds. Instant cast time. 60 second cooldown.
- Goblin Punch: Ability. Uses 1 Aetheric Spice. Damage a selected target. Potency of 100. Instant cast time. 15 second cooldown.
- Mustard Bomb: Ability. Uses 2 Aetheric Spice. Damage a selected target and all enemies with in 5 yalms of them. Potency of 200 for the first enemy, 10% less for the second, 20% less for the third, 30% less for the fourth, 40% less for the fifth, and 50% less for all remaining enemies. Instant cast time. 5 second cooldown.
- Plasma Charge: Ability. Uses 3 Aetheric Spice. For 18 seconds, place a Barrier on all partymembers within 15 yalms of the user that will damage any foe that damages the them. Potency of 100. Instant cast time. 60 second recast.
- Pumpkin Head: Ability. Uses 1 Aetheric Sugar and 2 Aetheric Spice. Damage a selected target, then heal all allies with in 20 yalms equal to 50% of the damage. Potency of 600. Instant cast time. 60 second cooldown.
Other Abilities
- Glace: Ability. Double the amount of Special Ingredients you receive from the next Magic Fruit, Pollen, Doink!, or Flambe you use. Duration Time: 10 seconds. Instant cast time. 180 second cooldown.
- Limit Glove: Ability. Uses 4 of either Special Ingredients. Place a shield on a selected partymember that will absorb the next damaging Spell, Weaponskill, or Ability used on them and spread out the damage it would have done over 30 seconds. Not all Spells, Weaponskills, and/or Abilities can be absorbed. Duration: 10 seconds. Instant cast time. 180 second cooldown.
- Harvest: Ability. Grant the user full, random Special Ingredients. Instant cast time. 180 second cooldown.
- Rippler: Ability. Switches all the user's Aetheric Sugar into Aetheric Spice and vice-versa. Instant cast time. 15 second cooldown.
- Transfusion: Ability. For 30 seconds, spread the user's Blood Drain, Devour, and/or Drain Kiss restorative effects to all partymembers with in 20 yalms of the user (%-based restorative effects are based off the user's Damage or Maximum MP, respectfully). Instant cast time. 60 second cooldown.

50. Hunger: Whenever the user lands a Critical Hit with Blood Drain, Devour, or Drainkiss, there is a 50% chance that they will receive either a Aetheric Sugar or Aetheric Spice.
