Why not let Top100 actualy to be 100 different players and not let alt to participate.
Because right now some players can have the reward twice and steal spot of others players.
Like climb in solo was not already like a crazy roll of dice everyday, we still have to deal with alts.

I'm pretty new to the fold but from what I see on the forums, the devs and mods just don't care. You can go back 20+ pages and no one even acknowledges the problem exists, let alone update us on preventing it in the future. There is no way this will be taken seriously as a competitive platform.

There's a reason pvp still not claimed an esport. It is clear SE wants take it there but also clear that it will need some time. Just look at all the people with teleport hacks, I'm amazed the positioning relies on client side when pvp and server side when pve (I'm looking at all that Titan's slides I got when EU were still in NA soil...).

Cheating and all that stuff will always be existing in any game but needs be an exception, not a daily occurrence.

Questioning what SE does with PVP is useless. They have proven time and time again they either don't care or do not have a capable / large enough team.

Does anyone know if these same issues plague JP data centers? if not maybe SE doesn't realize how bad it is here in NA/EU or they simply don't know how to fix it. Because "not caring" seems kinda weird seeing how they managed to relaunch failed game and got second chance, so i hope there is something else behind this mess than simply not caring.

I made a post on the JP PVP forum talking about these very issues -- the third party software that calls out when someone is bursting, the alts clogging the leaderboard, the win-trading. Making suggested changes got lots of support but not a single dev comment.

I don't know if it's that they don't care. They are probably working on a solution that may take a while. Like how would they code it in?

There are a multitude of reasons as to why fixes may not be implemented or concerned addressed so quickly. To us it may seem like the devs don't care because we get minimal responses from the community team in PVP, but they do gather all the information and report it to the devs. Finding solutions to all the PVP problems isn't something that is solved in a single meeting and fixed over night. They have to map out solutions that works for the community at large, figure out solutions as to how to implement the fixes in game, and assure that it does not compromise other elements of the game at large.

If they didn't care about PVP they wouldn't have revamped it for SB the way they did, and they would just leave it alone. End of the day, 14 is still a PVE majority game, and the devs have a multitude of issues and concerns to address while creating new content to players with every patch. I'm not excusing them from not addressing the many concerns in PVP, but we need to support the devs while we voice our concerns. As Yoshi P did mention, writing out formal and detailed reports and concerns helps the time a lot more than over emotional rants and yelling.

I agree that alts taking up top 100 slots isn't ideal (just like alts taking housing plots) and that if they can limit it to 1 per account then that's the best solution. But I do have to ask - is this really a problem that we know of? Is there an "alt problem" in the top 100? How do you know people are playing alts into the top 100?
