[Request] Please Suspend Housing Demolition for NA

As much as I agree with this I know it won't happen. It's not exactly a secret that SE has patriotic favoritism for their own nation, which is respectable mind you, but they more than likely won't extend this curtesy to the states. Why? I can't speak for the team themselves. I'm sure that SENA would like it, but the head honchos probably don't as far as this is concerned.

Its like hearing the stories of third-world countries. Most people will see it on the news or so, share a few moments of sympathy and then move on. So because of this I extend my own sympathies to those affected and wish them good health and safety. I donated a few packages of water this past weekend to the red cross.

I am going to make a guess that SE will never respond to this thread.

Why? Because they legitimize this debate/discussion when they make an official response.

If they have no intention of suspending the timer, then the best response is to simply ignore this thread completely.

what really grinds my gears is the people saying "zOMG you're HEARTLESS if you don't agree!"

And I'm not saying that everyone who disagrees and is against the delay is lacking in compassion. If you go back and re-read my post I clearly said that the people that are telling those that are showing empathy towards those that have been a victim of losing their homes and are trying to pick up the pieces, are needing to re-evaluate their lives - that is what I called lacking in compassion. I think these types of comments are unnecessary and to be honest if you're going to say something like that then you're just trolling and being nasty anyway, there's just no need for those types of comment, if you have an opinion at least be respectful. I have no problem with anyone that does not support the delay as long as they're being respectful in their comments. It was the few snide remarks pissing over people's empathy that riled me.

I wouldn't count them out yet. 14 pages, but only 2 days old. This kind of decision cannot be made lightly within a day or two. they have to hold meetings and bring it up for consideration.

Uhm because you do say that. If you dont agree , you dont have a heart. Instead of burning people down like you do now. Why dont you the ask the people who say that.

Second : Empathy and companssion are weird here in a way. You guys are speaking for people who have better things on there mind. If i was a victim and had no house. And some of you guys ask *do i need to safe your ingame house*. I would smack you on the spot. Because then you guys are disrepectfull to the situation the person is in.

Third : They want auto demo for all NA players and some want no delay for opening Shirogane. That is speaking 2 morals and I my eyes using the situation in there own benefit. There are people here for real wanting to help people , but the most people here want this for there own benefit. We know how much house owners hate auto demo.

Four : In Japan they are more respectfull to each another and the people are less selfish in these situations.

They just need a toggle to disable the auto demo for residents for the hitted states and country\\'s .

Seeing all the arguing in this thead, if I were SE I'd be hesitant to take any action at all. I really think a better overall policy will do more good, than any amount of "gestures". And be less messy, too.

[TL;DR] Change it so that auto demolition timer only starts count down after your subscription expires, and auto-demolition should never happen if you still have an active subscription.

Firstly I have not used the term heartless at all and for you to suggest that is just being antagonistic for the sake of an argument. As I said I don't have a problem with people's opposition towards the demolition delay, in fact some people here have put forth very good arguments as to why it shouldn't be delayed and they have done so in a respectful way, and yes although I fully support a demo delay, I can see the reasoning behind some of the comments.

Also, my hubby suggested the very same thing you suggested, I'd even go so far as to say that it would be a good thing to have (not just for NA) on a permenant basis. I highly doubt this will happen. I know if I was affected by any of this, it would be the last thing I was thinking of, but after returning to some sense of normalacy I'd be grateful for the demo delay.

Although it would be fair I higlhy doubt they would do such a thing, they've proven us at many occasion now that only JP players matter to them :/
