unspoiled nodes not showing up. need help please

So this is probably a dumb question with an easy answer. I'm a lvl 61 botanist trying to gather unspoiled nodes for scrips. I was able to gather one of the nodes. After that none of the unspoiled nodes are showing up. I have truth of forest on. I use a node alarm to let me know when it spawns and where. I've tried multiple nodes in different zones and the unspoiled node don't appear. This isn't the first times this has happened. What am I missing?

Which specific nodes are you looking for? A good chunk of nodes in Heavensward zones are locked behind Folklore tomes. These tomes allow you to see more nodes (they're actually called legendary nodes, but work the same). You can buy them with red scrips in Idyllshire.

ok looking closer at the item descriptions I see the tomes are needed for these items. Thank you very much for telling me this . So should I focus on getting the tomes first or the blue scrip gear first. Just wondering?

Seeing as you are already wearing lv61 gear, the blue script gear is weaker than your current gear. Continue working on levelling up, gathering Red Scrip to unlock folklore tombs and just purchase gear from the Rhalgr's Reach until you reach 70. Once at 70 you will have a choice, gather Yellow Scrip for that gear or purchase HQ Serge gear from the MB and over meld it. The over melded gear provides higher stats in the in end but cost a crap ton more in effort / gil.

I'd focus on getting books. Since all the books are bought with red scrips, and you'll get plenty leveling, there's no real sacrifice to be made, as the level 70 gear is purchased with Yellow scrips instead. And as Chameleon mentioned, your current gear is better than the old blue scrip gear.
