out of the 9 jobs I leveled so far I thought PLD's SB quests were funny... Warrior's SB quest blew it away. lol

It was a funny storyline from 60-70, but I've always been frustrated that the warrior storyline isn't very important to the lore of XIV. I thought back in 2.0 that meeting Curious Gorge and his brother was going to be relevant to when we visit Alabathia's Spine, since that is where their clan resides, but in 3.X we only visit the sky ABOVE Alabathia, never setting foot in the actual mountains. They managed to squeeze some added relevance to warriors in the lore, simply by having warriors exist on the Azim Steppes, but its not much. We don't even speak to the leader of the Dawn Throne about his obvious ties to the warrior tradition.
I just finished Astrologian story for 4.X, and that had some interesting lore connections, not to mention quite possibly setting up the next new job in FFXIV. It made the jokes in the Warrior story seem pretty boring in retrospect.
The first quest specially was awesomeIt's fun to see a romantic job storyline, never been done and it worked out in terms of xaela lore and Gorge's realizations
Well it added a lot of Dal....I forget which xaela tribe lore about their warriors, that's still a lot of lore. But I can see your point too, I hope we visit Hellsguard's homeland in next expansion to get the real warrior lore there. It was a funny storyline from 60-70, but I've always been frustrated that the warrior storyline isn't very important to the lore of XIV. Eh, I found the WAR quest to be lacking to be honest. We now have 3 expansions worth of Corge not feeling up to par and needing encouragement.
I'd love to have a WAR storyline not containing on Corge and his lack of self confidence, but rather more in depth of their lore. Dorgono was nice, the entire love triangle (not really, but I lack a better word for it) was just way to predictable and distracting. Warrior is about strength, so why not give us some legendary warrior to look up to, and then recreate their feats of legend to become stronger?
Maybe the greatest warriors are those who care the most but don't always have the best confidence.Eh, I found the WAR quest to be lacking to be honest. We now have 3 expansions worth of Corge not feeling up to par and needing encouragement.

Lesson to be learned
This storyline and blacksmith storyline have been my favorites so far. If you enjoyed warrior you will probably enjoy blacksmith too.
Dang, I need to level WAR now.
Its not the "lesson" im criticizing, its the repeat of the same story driver (:. I'd much rather see different motivations than repeat the same old multiple times.
I loved this questline. xD Curious Gorge wasn't that bad as far as his supposed incompetence goes, dude's never been in love before! It took him a long time to learn how to deal with his feelings, which is totally relatable.
I ship them hard.
Ka-Lian'Tu-Sa on Tonberry, we're always looking for new folk to join!
