


Kuso has the right of it. It's currently hard to even consider practicing at certain periods without just creating an alt to do so.People don't do it to "stomp noobs". Anyone will tell you that playing with and against bad players in The Feast is really not fun at all.
Most people playing alts do so in order to continue playing/practing or to try out new jobs and roles without risking their rank.
This game suffers harshly from "unfavorable" queue periods, where matches are very regularly swayed against you based on the pool of players currently queueing at the time. Easiest way to avoid that is playing an alt.
As for why there are 2-4 alts of the same people? I dunno.
