"Difference in Playstyle" Goad is now in what i call the "Optional skills." There are multiple skills for players to choose from. Some players like to support the group so they will make sure goad is on the bar. Some players prefer burn burn burn and do not care about supporting the group.

So basically it comes down to "difference in playstyle" so if kicked for not having Goad on your bar is not a punishable offence. You can love it or hate it... either way its still an optional skill to have on your bar.

IF they would prefer burn burn burn they would support their group because physical classes with TP can burn burn burn.

But yeah i know most people are only thinking of themselfs but most of these "optional" skills are useless anyway.

I totally agree and I prefer supporting the group in turn I will grab any skill I can that will do just that.

I just think there's a lot of dickhead tanks in this game. I just started playing dps classes the last few weeks and most tanks suck flat out and don't understand what tanking is, how to sustain themselves, or how to manage their own resources. And when things don't go their way they blame everyone else and start kicking. When I tank I pace myself and every run is smooth, without incident and relaxed. When I'm healing or playing dps I noticed most tanks want to try to pull half the dungeon on top of them and when they die they blame the healer or the dps for not burning fast enough. To be fair I've met alot of really nice, friendly relaxed players that I enjoy playing with, but when the assholes come out it leads me to blacklist them and hope I never bump into them again.

Because SE messed up? I macro switch, between protect and esuna (esuna on, protect outside of battle.)

Esuna should have just stayed baked in, protect should have been an aura or like pvp. Better role skills should tempt you, not mandatory ones.

Because SE thought "Oh all healers have Esuna, let's make it a role action instead of wasting this spot for it", meanwhile people see "Oh Esuna is in role actions now? Must be optional."

...no you mean for the same reason tanks don't have rampart. SE just screwed it up and made the needed stuff optional.

@Trunks: Even if i don't have another Melee or BRD/MCH in a dungeon, i have often use for goad on the tanks and in normal dungeons stuns are not really needed. Who can't run out deserves to get hit.

When you get put in a DF group as a melee DPS, more often than not there's nobody who needs Goad. However, there usually are tanks who don't have their stun, tanks who can't hold threat, tanks who like to cleave melee, tanks who like to waltz the boss and screw up positionals, healers who never stop targeting the tank, etc. I mean, I usually have Goad anyway, but I do swap my skills around a lot and sometimes you just forget to swap back. God, these humans with their mistakes. I wish I could just get bots for dungeons!
