New(ish) player looking for casual FC

Greetings!

I'm planning on joining a FC at some point this weekend, and know of a few options but wanted to see what else is out there.

I have played FFXIV before, but really only dabbled in it, never even having a level 50 job. I'm planning on making FFXIV my home now and want to make sure I find a good community.

I dont plan on being max level anytime soon. I will level several jobs as well as crafters and may even hang at 50 a while before starting expansion purchases. So I will be mostly a chat presence for a while but eventually ill get to the 'end game'.

I would prefer a community where the primary communication method is text (voice for groups/events is perfectly fine though).

Also, I dislike the concept of 'speed runs' and the need of some people to finish dungeons in 18 minutes instead of 21 minutes has caused to me stop tanking in MMOs.

Basically, I play MMORPGs to relax and have fun. Looking for a group of like minded people to have fun with.

Hello! We're a new FC here, looking to grow, most of us are already max level and doing endgame stuff, but we have a few people who are either still leveling, or are leveling secondary jobs. We have a few crafters and gatherers who know whats up to answer any questions you may have and a good knowledge range for battle classes for any of those questions you may have. As for communication, we do a little of both, there is typically a good amount of ingame FC chat along side Discord voice chat, and we use Discord outside the game for text chat to keep in touch.

On a personal not, I'm one of those guys who likes to do the whole speed run thing, for a few reasons, I'm a healer, and I like to test my limits, and obnoxiously huge pulls achieve that. And I like to race my past best times. That being said, I can't think of anyone that would complain about taking things a little more slow, especially in those leveling dungeons, sometimes they're a hell of a lot harder then the endgame ones.

We do have two raid groups, so there is some seriousness in our play, but on off we're pretty much just all here to have fun! Shoot me a message here or in game if you're interested.
