    Savage and PUG skill expectations?

Ok, so I've been doing my weekly clears, and for the past few weeks, I've noticed something.

DPS not using Diversion. Melee not using feint on tankbusters in 3s. God forbid you get a nin because you know full well they won't use shadewalker or smokescreen and then they'll complain about all the aggro they have.

Ok, maybe the first time was just bad luck. I'll say, hey nin, can you smokescreen [dps with most aggro] and shadewalker the ot for adds?

One time in a 3s clear I had to ask three times. After three wipes. The eventual response I got was "It's smokescreen not smoke bomb lol"

Because it's that hard to infer from context?

What I'm asking is, is it unreasonable for me to be expecting pugs to not e.g. diversion/feint, even though this is savage content? Even though I ask them repeatedly? Am I just being overly finicky or is there a point in savage where I can say "hey, use these skills or I'm removing you for being a hindrance to the party?"

I understand this is a post in reference to pugs and I run in a static but telling a ninja to smoke another dps :/ you've said yourself already diversion etc. Shadewalker on OT, that's a given.

But why should a ninja pick up the slack for another dps who's failing to control their enmity when they have the skills available to them?

The only time I smokescreen in my static is during the agro table reset in 4S Neo and that's for healer who beyond lucid (used for mp primarily not emnity reduction) has no other emnity control.

Either the other dps and/or the tanks aren't controlling enmity properly and the responsibility doesn't instantly fall to the ninja just because other people can't be bothered to play well. Using smokescreen on players who are just straight up ignoring thier own enmity (reduction) skills promotes bad play.

I had to ask a WHM to use Medica II before an upcoming AoE hit. In floor 4 (yes, Savage).

They absolutely shouldn't be the only one working, I'm sorry if I suggested that - I've just been having problems with ninjas using LITERALLY NOTHING. No diversion, shadewalker, or smokescreen. At all. And then wondering why their aggro is so high.

I'm already working with my OT, since I tend to pug with my cotank, to maximise both of our dps stance uptimes on bosses, and if, IF dps use their skills its not a problem. But it's so frustrating to have to halone/shield oath/whatever because a dps will not use. Anything. At all.

But also, I see no reason NOT to ask a ninja to use smokescreen on the highest aggro dps, even if they are using diversion - I mean, it doesn't hurt, does it? More to the point, I shouldn't have to be telling people in the third damn floor of savage that shadewalker is helpful, you know?
