Drops of gear for finishing dungeons in SB

The thing was, during actual 4.0, I had gotten weapons. You needed every single piece that you could get from that dungeon before you'd get it, but you'd get it guaranteed, too. I got my current RDM weapon doing this method (with a friend that was kind enough to run it with me from 0 piece til guarantee, since it refused to drop from the chest, and to speed queues). I got my WHM cane the same way, as well as previous RDM and WHM weapons where I had the full gear and no drop from a chest. Now I try to get the scholar book the same way (in Castrum Abania, Shisui of the Violet Tides and Doma Castle) and noticed it's not happening anymore.

Considering it's leveling dungeons that only guarantee loot, I sent this in as a bug. Especially knowing your main hand is the most important thing to upgrade, but has always been the hardest to get.

I had my full Shisui Scouting gear and I could not get my blades to drop at all. I had grinded that dungeon and gained 3 levels, and I still have not came across the blades.

It's not just Stormblood. I get a guarantee drop in Heavensward too. The only hitch is that the 70 dungeons don't do that. I had to run Ala Mhigo a few times to get gear when I first got to it. At least I got to play with Zenos a lot and tomes while farming it.

I've never had 1 drop after completing personally, it's reached a point where my bard is 68 and still in the 60 bow cause 1 has never dropped or anything even at 65 when I had the entire set...I'm tempted to just buy an npc 1 but knowing my luck 1 will drop after I do.

Like I said, I'm running into that now. I got the weapon guaranteed drops in 4.0, but between when I got my WHM to 70 until a week or two ago when I decided to level SCH, I didn't run any leveling dungeons of any kind. I know for a fact that Stormblood had the guarantee weapon drops, but only in leveling dungeons and only if you have all of the other pieces of gear for that dungeon on that class and had it on you.

SB leveling dungeons never dropped weapon at the end of run guarantee piece.

I know because I thought when I was leveling my first job at launch that I would get weapon after I collected all the other pieces, but never did on any of the jobs I've leveled so far.

I've leveled 8 jobs through SB dungeons with full sets and never got a weapon drop at the end except for if it dropped in the treasure chest. Guaranteed drop? Never, not even while wearing the full set.

I actually just did a Bardam's Mettle on PLD with full nomads set except weapon and it didn't give me anything at the end.

I'm not confusing getting the weapon from a chest. Considering at least three different occasions did the dungeon give me the weapon after the final boss was slain. Just like the gear. I am not imaging it, nor am I doubting the events that transpired. I 100% know for a fact it was given. Whether or not it was a bug I benefited from or if it's bugged now is what I question. Also, again, I noticed this was guarantee during 4.0. Not 4.01, 4.05, or 4.06. 4.0. I only noticed the change after 4.06a dropped, as that's when I started to level a third class.

I literally would not have my RDM weapon that I glamour if it never happened. I've still never seen the stupid thing drop in any run I've done. I've only every gotten it placed into my inventory via the guaranteed drop system in place for leveling dungeons.
