hey i need seals i think but i dont know how to start the quest who do i talk to please help guys thankyou. i tried the hunting board but they said i am not authorized to participate in the hunt. thanks guys

You need to be certain rank in the Nation your aligned with. Race your rank there first. Normally after your level 30 and have been given a company chocobo you will get quest for it. You get seals of fates, leves, quest, hunt logs ect.

Don't forget the grand company hunting log. Gives a lot of seals.

The chocobo is available through main scenario quests when you're around level 25. You can do hunting log entries for seals (check the hunting log in your menu), challenge log items (pick up the challenge log quest at the Drowning Wench in Limsa Lominsa) and daily roulettes that are unlocked. You can also do fates. It's only 200 seals so you'll get that amount very easily.

Well, the quest isn't directly in the main scenario, though you have to get far enough into the main scenario to join one of the three Grand Companies before it becomes available. Once you join a GC by completing one of the main scenario quests Till Sea Swallows All, For Coin and Country, or Wood's Will Be Done, then you can pick up the sidequest My Little Chocobo from the Commander at your GC headquarters.

That quest will ask you to earn enough GC Seals to buy a Chocobo Issuance from the GC Quartermaster, and then take that Issuance to the Chocobokeep who will issue you your chocobo.

As for earning the seals needed, once you've joined a GC, several of the activities, like FATEs and dungeon roulettes, that you've probably done before will start earning you GC Seals along with the XP or gil they already gave. There will also be a new GC section in your hunting log, and the marks listed in that section will earn you GC seals. It shouldn't take long to earn the 200 needed to buy the Chocobo Issuance that quest asks for.
