All Tanaka tried to do was copy FF11, which in turn copied much of its structure from earlier RPGs. Pretending that XIV has been objectively worse under Yoshida is laughable, especially when it comes to infrastructure.I still think after all these years they should have kept Tanaka. Name shame all you want but he did have MMO experience and at least tried to branch out. And could actually try things even if they weren't that successful.
I guess we should be fortunate we don't get excuses like "We can add a few new player face options but it'll cost you a raid tier".
