Black Launcher!

Hello ive been getting a black launcher the past three days. I have tried everything i could find online and nothing seems to work. Also called isp and nothing on there end. Is there any solutions to this? It does let me play but i have to sit there for 30mins spamming the launcher over and over. My sub ends today idk if i can resub since the most of the sites i get a error and most important thing i cant play..........

The launcher is just a Web page wrapped in a fancy looking Internet Explorer.
Clear out Internet Explorer's cache/temp files and you may see this issue go away.

If you're on Windows 10, make sure you're doing this with IE and not Edge.
If you're not on Windows at all and the above isn't applicable, then I'll need more information about your setup.

I have to use chrome because windows 8 doesn't support Ie anymore. i have cleared all cache and temps. I've been playing for a year now on and off and this only started happening on monday. I also get this error on the websites.

Windows 8 still has IE. Your personal choice if Web browser doesn't change what the launcher uses.
Searching "Internet Explorer" in your start menu should be sufficient in opening it up.

I'm having the same problem. This started on Monday for me. I have AT&T Uverse. I can even barely access these forums. I play on PC and PS4 on this connection which is at my girlfriends house. I'm getting the same problem on both which leads me to believe the isp is the problem. I also got the same problem at my own place on my PS4 Pro. I also have AT&T there. I never had any problems until Monday. I'm going to try later today on my laptop at my brothers place since he has a different internet provider.

i have at&t uverse too. I cant stream but i raid every sat with this isp.

I have a friend who is having the same problem and have found other players through reddit who are having the same problem. Do you happen to live in California? There was a fire out in the Burbanks Mountain on Sunday when the problem started for my friend and he hasn't been able to log on since then. He cannot load launcher or the lodestone. We also found that the players affected have AT&T so, something with the fire on Sunday must have messed something up. I posted to the forum yesterday and got no response and sent a ticket in but, no response just yet. I hope this sheds some light on your problem and that you are not the only one affected.

Yes i live in Los Angeles. But i don't understand why its only ffxiv sites. I can access and play everything else.

I'm in Los Angeles too >_<
Everything else works fine. Can stream movies and surf the web with no problem.
