    Factory Reset Laptop

    I may need to factory reset my laptop, but before I try this will I have to completely repurchase my XIV games, mounts glamours etc? Or is that account locked? If I reinstall using my account will it all still be there?

    The game license and all of your character data is tied directly to your Square Enix ID. This includes all cash-shop related purchases, bonus items, etc. Once the laptop is reset, all you need to do is re-download the game client and login with your existing SE account. You do not have to worry about re-purchasing the game or losing any of your stuff.

    About the only thing you will have to worry about is setting up your macros again, because those are saved via PC, but that's about it.
