A tldr might be worthwhile. I stopped reading after first paragraph(plus a couple lines) since you start with "I don't play summoner" then went into a nuanced aspect of summoner play in burst windows etc.
Just something that might get those who try to avoid the misinformation/"feeling as fact" pieces all over the forum a bit more involved / show yours might not be one of them
Even though I welcome every smn lover Paiyne is right it's not the cleverest thing to start an indeepth concept with "I don't play this cls myself..." - never the less you should post your thoughts in that "If you were part of the DEV team" thread where we try to gather all the problems and concepts the community come up with. If you really want to look into that cls with its pros & cons the named thread is kinda like a good cls wiki in its current state - and absolutely worth reading
So hope to see ya over there ^__^ /
Best regards
Yuni

Hmm, I see. I don't often take to the forums so I wasn't aware that these were things, if I try to share my opinion of things again I'll be sure to keep them in mind. That said, neither of you read nor addressed anything I said, regardless of if I play the class or not. Productive conversations can't be had if the time and effort to have them isn't given, and while I now understand that I should post my opinion in a mega-thread of opinions it doesn't change that I didn't know that small detail and that my opinion was dismissed immediately by the both of you. If you were to do that in person, if someone were to be talking to you about something you both enjoy and commit a lot of time to, and you just stopped them in their tracks a few sentences in to tell them they aren't valid, you can see how that wouldn't be all that productive right? In that scenario neither of your opinions on the topic have reached one another, isn't that the point of these forums?
tl;dr My bad for not knowing the community's structure but when responding to someone you should at the very least read their message fully.

well I read it completely but like I said there are discussions over there which are very similar and you can't wait for a bunch of people to repeat their opinions here over and over again instead of going over yourself and taking part in an ongoing dialog. Don't want to be mean - its more an explanation why nearly nobody took this topic in account yet... : /
I would also point out that what we said was indeed productive since it was about helping you bring that discussion out effectively. We did not comment on the actual summoner stuff ourselves. But it most certainly was productive to your conversation
By productive I specifically meant about the topic at hand, not about how the community uses the forums, and while I appreciate the info it doesn't change what the actual topic is. Regardless I have posted a summarized version of this thread in the larger one so let us now let this one sink to the back of the forums, forever lost to its murky waters.
Please
1.Don't clickbait posts. Put down what you mean to discuss in your title. Your thread is about SMN, put SMN in the title.
2. There's already several posts about SMN.
3. The starting thread is excruciatingly long.
