New Idea: Mini Golf!

Hey, I had a thought; a minigame like minigolf in the housing areas might be nice! Whether its indoors or outdoors, it'd be great if you could get course sections as furniture and build a course for you and friends to play. Nothing too elaborate.

You'd be giving the player an extremely creative outlet and something communal to get players hanging out together in housing areas. And also a way for crafters to make gil from creating sections and selling on the market board. I guess it'd be made from wood. :P

To the devs: It'd only need to be simple mechanics for putting (as in putting the ball) with direction/power and the course sections wouldn't take up much of the games resoucres as it'd be reasonable low poly / low texture resolution with shared textures across them all. More thought would have to go into how it'd all work with groups of players taking turns etc, but I think it's perfectly possible to do all this with minimal development time and costs.

I'd actually love to see something like this in the gold saucer where they could just go crazy with the space. Maybe one of the prizes could be a putting green for the house? Ooh or a miniature windmill for the yard!

Having a proper course in the GS would be amazing too. It would lack player experimentation and customization but at least it could be done really well. The GS for me has become a place to go to do the lottery now, needs more content!
