    DRG Stat Weights?

Ever since Stormblood came out, I've just been melding primarily Crit and Direct Hit because those were the highest stats that my gear gave me. But recently I've joined a new static raiding group, and we're still struggling to make it past O3S. I've heard that DPS classes will have to reach about 4k in order to beat the enrage timer, but I'm reportedly lower than that despite having an average item level of 334.

I know my rotation is solid, so I've been looking for the DRG stat weights of Stormblood. However, I've not been able to find anything. Does anybody know what a DRG's optimal set-up would be?

The best stats for DRG are in fact DH and Crit, Skill speed should be extremely low @ around 2.44 GCD. But secondary stats are pretty weak and the best stats vs the worse would still only be a small dps difference.

Your rotation very well may be solid but perhaps it's your uptime that isn't good, dropping BOTD or LOTD, or if you die even once it will put you below 4k.

Even though stats are important, if you're struggling to reach 4k dps with that ilvl I'm sorry to say that there's a more fundamental problem. Maybe you're not making a smart usage of lodt. Ideally, you want to activate lotd at every add phase (dragon, apanda and golem and if you're very good you can also hit the white orb in the second phase with a nastrond). This alone makes a significant difference. Or as Lala suggested you may have low uptime so no matter how good your rotation is, if you don't keep the gcd rolling 99% of the time your dps will not be great.

Anyway, here you can find 4 good gear sets for drg. At the end of the day there are what you want to do is avoid having a gcd lower than 2.41 because of cd alignment. So not too much sks. Other than that, maximize crit and direct hit.

I don't know... I never drop BotD at all (it's practically impossible to), I activate Nastrond only when I have the ability to hit three of them, and I follow the rotation exactly as is listed in the guide Lastelli linked.

Maybe I am above 4k after all then? I mean, I don't really know how to check myself, so all I can go on is a comment one of my static buddies made...

Basically this. Try your luck at SSS. whatever your managing to do on SSS is what you should aim to do in the fight. (obviously you wont have 100% uptime) However with proper use of skills like elusive jump and spineshatter dives. your up time should always be high. A Small example is the tethers mechanic. you can run to break your tethers then "Elusive Jump" back to the boss to save time running. There are multiple occasions that such moves can be utilized. I'm a blm player however so somebody else can probably give more examples. I believe there is a guy called momokyun or something like that (youtube search) who plays drg and is very good when it comes to ways of keeping good uptime.

You should focus Crit as much as possible, then take a balanced approach between Direct Hit and Determination while Skill Speed needs to only be around the 700-900 range.

This is currently the favoured BiS set for DRG: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/121CP

Since you're probably using the Lost Allagan weapon, this is what you can focus around for now: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/12V62

Your uptime is low based on your profile gear you should be able to clear. Lots of little things in that fight add up.
Having tether swaps yank you to the middle of nowhere. (being one of the lucky people that get stunned.)
    Missing positionals during facing phases.
Not being precise with or using elusive jump for gap closes at all.
Not being in the center squares for books preferably 2 or 3
Giving yourself too much buffer time positioning during forced marches.
Not continuing to use your gcds while moving/dodging.
This assuming people are reading who is putting in their fair share is reading correctly.

Thank you for the help and feedback, everybody. I have not given this Momokyun a look yet, but I will keep the gear list in mind. I've also spoken with my static about how things are looking, and as it turns out that although my opener and my uptime were fine, my sustain was just lacking. Because I haven't been able to find anything in regards to DRG sustained DPS, I just decided to try out a different opener and it improved my sustain DPS quite nicely. Yesterday I've been able to maintain 4k DPS quite nicely, though I still have to practise a bit with this new rotation.
