You should still only report individuals that are actively harassing other players over numbers, not just because you think they're "checking numbers." It's one thing to report a player that says "So-and-so, you're only doing 1000 DPS in Susano Ex! God! You suck! Uninstall the game now, please!" and another to report a person who says "So-and-so, maybe you could try doing [insert advice here] to improve your damage output."

I should also properly state my stance a bit more.

I would not be against them adding something for you to see *your own specific numbers*

But you should not be able to have/use anything that shows everyones.
A lot of statics use parsers to analyze group performance. Sometimes it's the best way to see where a group is lacking, and where they need to pick up the slack/improve on so that they can progress/clear a tier. Limiting the scope of visibility to just personal DPS wouldn't necessarily be a good thing here.

Thats what bothers me, and what leads to the people harassing others.
People harass other players based on jobs they play, on glamours they use, on just about anything. Jerks will be jerks, parser or no parser. Don't blame the tool just because a few individuals use it for the wrong things. Some of the people who you have reported probably had all the best intentions, but you chose to see them and treat them negatively. That doesn't make you any better than people who harass over parses.
