Just another thread asking for in-game parsing for ps4 users

I've been playing this game for 4 years and I've done everysingle content on the game currently on V3s Have yet to see someone get harassed because of their dps numbers

I have seen 2 people being complained to about their DPS numbers in DF party chat, and kicked as result. The funny thing about it: in both cases the person doing the complaining and kicking was actually doing less DPS than the people they were complaining about. But because we can't talk about parsers openly, no one could defend the people who were unfairly accused, and the kicks went through.

my old fc members told me that a lot, apparently that situation happens more often that it should. The worst I've seen with parsers are a couple of players bragging about their numbers on alexander normal back in 3.x no one got offended infact everyone laught it off how he was claiming to carry us. outside of that I've seen more party disband in 2.x and 3.x because they did not have enough dps to clear extreme primals. 4.0 so far I've actually had a fair amount of good players so far.

That crap doesn't need to be here and it's annoying enough knowing people still use them.

So let's say a person doesn't, that makes you break the rule and you just end up abusing the report button. So not only do you break the rules but also you report people for no reason because you have no proof.
You even gonna report people to try improve themselves? People who never said anything to you at all? People you just asume ''breaking'' the rules? This leads me to a question for you:

So are you the type who also report people for using glamour you don't like? Because that's how extreme it sounds like. I honestly have no words for your type of behavior at all.

Know what else is against the rules? Filing false reports. Know what else is harassment? Filing false reports. All you're doing is cherry picking which rules are ok to break to satisfy your personal distaste for parser use.

I honestly wouldn't be against even asking for a parser netting you a Ban. Because it means you are asking to break the rules.

Asking for an official parser isn't breaking the rules. It's asking SE to change their stance. AKA asking SE to change their own rules. Something SE can do whenever they want.

And accusing other players of something and filing wrong reports is also against the rules.

I'm not gonna ask for a ban. That would be the easy way out for you. Instead, I'll ask that they flag you. Permanently.

I hope every single time you file a report, whether its legit or not (because I'm quoting your extremism here), they don't even bother reading it and they automatically thrash it.

I hope every single time your name pops up, someone just reads your history info of report abuse and know not to bother with you.

You quote rules but you willingly admit you're prepared to file a bad report just on a feel. Meaning someone could raid with you and just be like "hey, I don't think you did good there" and--just because you feel like it--report them for parse use because it sounded like they were using one.

Far better would it have been for you not to post this at all. Seriously. Should've adopted the same policy SE has towards parse users: Don't ask, don't tell.

Parsers are beneficial to use for improvement and i'd only report people IF they are berating others with the parser. You have the right to report any parser but they aren't bad people and you're just making yourself look like a tool.

I should also properly state my stance a bit more.


I would not be against them adding something for you to see *your own specific numbers*

But you should not be able to have/use anything that shows everyones.


Thats what bothers me, and what leads to the people harassing others.

If they had something that let you see your numbers and not others then sure, fine.

So me a ps4 player who can't access parser do a trial or dungeon that I've done 300 times and can see how long or how slow adds are dying and for some reason I have the need to say that the dps is slow you will report me because you assume I have parsers when infact I don't...
