I would love a in game mog station button or npc to buy from the mog station in game. I purchase quit a bit from the mog station and it would make it a lot easier and more convinent to get the items I need if I could do it in game.

Buying from a over priced and not needed cash shop should be annoying to access. So no not needed at all, leave out of the game!
(PS: I'm kidding, having it in game or as it is now doesn't really make a difference to me. All the more power to you guys if you can get them to add it in.)

Playguide option already does something similar. Having a link to it is not a big deal I guess. A nag screen (something that pops up in your face every time you login advertising the latest sales) would be lame.

Well, like I said, it's arguable. You've just supplied the argument. As to whether or not those potions approach pay to win, that's up to personal perspective. They do help newer players catch up to their friends and whatnot, but I feel that there are changes that could have been made to the same effect without pushing those players toward the cash shop. For instance, we didn't have to be fully leveled to 60 and finished with both ARR and HW questlines in order to access SB - that was a choice made by SE. FFXI never required that level of completion for any of its expansions. I remember reading in an interview somewhere that the devs weren't initially planning to gate SB so severely.Eh? Unless you're talking about jump potions, everything else in there is either exclusive glamour-only items or past seasonal events that will not be available in the future.
There is literally nothing remotely close to pay-to-win items in the cash shop excluding jump potions, which aren't the case because they only catch you up to the most recent expansion - they don't put you ahead.
Regarding jump potions themselves, it's a pretty huge journey from lvl 1 to 70 and the story that goes along with it. I am totally not surprised that people use jump potions to skip a bunch of that.
I wouldn't personally, but they are there for a reason and they haven't destroyed the game or anything . . .
I'd expect an in-game cash shop button to be accompanied by ads pointing to it, but also by game content designed to make it more appealing in the same way that the jump potions were accompanied by an insane level/story grind. And if anything, I wouldn't want to be pestered by all of that each time I log in.

I just wish you didn't have to re-enter your CC info for EVERY individual purchase like it's 1998.
Nah doesn't need ad. What I'm thinking about is just a kiosk mog menu in game that wouldn't be seen except if you want to open it, just like Gw2 has an icon on top of the screen between all the other menus and that's all.

Maybe wants see some NPC vendors with stuff priced with Crysta?
Having the item viewable in the npc shop makes possible things as "try it" and that will be a great addon.
I will never miss any occasion to add we need have "character only" and "account wide" pricing for everything. If stuff continue being sent with moogle mail that's fine to me.

I wouldn't mind so long as it had some kind of built-in protection to keep other people who might play on your account for whatever reason from making purchases on it. Like if you have a sibling or a kid that plays sometimes. That'd never be a issue for me personally but I have friends that will let their nephews and such toy around in the game occasionally.
You know that according to FFXIV's chart you are not supposed to share your account.I wouldn't mind so long as it had some kind of built-in protection to keep other people who might play on your account for whatever reason from making purchases on it.
