Honestly a little NPC that lets you see Mogstation items would be fine by me. Not just to try on gear, but seeing other account details could be rather useful.
Eh? Unless you're talking about jump potions, everything else in there is either exclusive glamour-only items or past seasonal events that will not be available in the future. My thought is, we don't need instant in-game access to a cash shop when most all of the items we have available right now could be argued to not be outright pay-to-win. I would see an in-game button as a potential tool to coax players into, say, buying something rather than farming it, and I'd hate to see this game get to the point that players are able to hit a cash shop button and bypass relevant gameplay. The leveling/story-skipping potions are bad enough as it is.
There is literally nothing remotely close to pay-to-win items in the cash shop excluding jump potions, which aren't the case because they only catch you up to the most recent expansion - they don't put you ahead.
Regarding jump potions themselves, it's a pretty huge journey from lvl 1 to 70 and the story that goes along with it. I am totally not surprised that people use jump potions to skip a bunch of that.
I wouldn't personally, but they are there for a reason and they haven't destroyed the game or anything . . .

No thanks, the lack of any actual presence in game is probably the best thing about the mogstation.
Ewww. The only thing remaining that makes this feel like a sub only game is no in game shop.
This is probably the only game I would pay a sub for when I can afford it. I turn off recomendations because it feels like an ad. Can I turn off this in game shop?

You will still have to visit mog station to buy the crystas.
And if you are on mogstation to buy crystas, you can also visit the shop on mog station at the same time.
So, no need for it to be payable ingame.
But maybe let Rowena wear the newest glamour?
Another thing, I wish we can just buy a coupon on mogstation, give the coupon to a NPC ingame to unlock the glamour in his shop and he let us buy the glamour for gil everytime we want.
So we don't have to save up the glamour gear all the time, because it would be a waste of money to throw them away.

The amount of time needed to code something like an NPC opening up a browser window to the MogStation would be less than an hour, but if it's something built into the game interface, it'd probably at most take a week.
Gotta give SE an easier way to milk our wallets even further![]()
I don't see a reason against it, as a menu point at system, nothing obnoxious. Especially if there's the fitting room optionf or those things.
(Also hey, I just saw that very same video!)
dank meme
They really need to get paypal at some point. Tho personnally I use my credit card and not crysta on the kiosk. You will still have to visit mog station to buy the crystas.
