It's not a few seconds. Doing normal pulls causes dungeons to take between 20-30 minutes. Doing large pulls finishes them in 15-20. You save 5-10 minutes.I have no issue at all with helping people learn fights. I'm not a fan of speed running everything and I state this when I'm healing so the tank knows. I just see no point in stressing everyone out just to shave a few seconds off a run. It's always more fun for me if it's a nice run where no one's blaming someone else for not playing like they want them to. I would much rather help someone new learn the ropes than try to push everyone as fast or faster than they can handle then get upset if it doesn't work out.

Despite I'd say 75-80% of my experiences having been mostly positive, I always keep my expectations low. If someone's new, I don't care. No one does, but speak up. No one will be able to help if they don't say something, otherwise the party's going to assume they're on an alt or something like that. My only expectations of anyone is to at least know the basics of their class, and be open to advice if it's given, and of course...speak up if someone's new. Most people in this game really do want to help. In my 4 years, I'd say the majority of the community is at least decent. There are jerks, yes, but they're everywhere on the internet or off. But people shouldn't let that deter them from asking for help, or be willing to read a summary someone took the time to type out for them. Those are my only expectations, beyond that I have none.

5 minutes is not the end of the world

A lot of people are only in that group content because the game forces them to be there. I wouldn't be surprised if the impatient and judgmental attitudes like many in this thread are the reason we got squadrons and the ability to take them into dungeons. So people who just want to get through the MSQ aren't berated and bullied when they aren't up to someone's exacting standards.
Or maybe the ones who are impatient will use them and I can enjoy DF with the newbs in peace.

Wait! We can take squadrons into dungeons?!!?A lot of people are only in that group content because the game forces them to be there. When did this happen?
I only use my squadron to get me exp boosts and materia

It adds up. I can speed through Kugane Castle in 10-11 minutes whereas it'll take double that for baby pulls. If I'm trying to cap Creation, you wanting a slow runs means what could taken 30 minutes to knock out three quick runs took an hour.
I do always love this strawman nonsense. How is my preference to speed through a dungeon I've ran 50+ times somehow judgmental or impatient? You want a leisurely stroll you can enjoy. Great! But if three other people don't, you're the one being entitled by trying to demand it.A lot of people are only in that group content because the game forces them to be there. Unless people are stating in chat at the beginning that "Hey , I really love this dungeons world, I'm gonna do tiny pulls so I can enjoy it" you're kind of assuming they are doing it simply to spite you or because they don't care about the rest of the partys objectives. Then again, if speed runs are what you're after, probably a PF is a better idea than a DF. Just using DF is accepting your experience is going to vary and demanding performance out of ANY party member beyond basic competency with their class is a bit entitled. I entirely support if someone is not listening to valid (polite or at least respectful) criticism, and if you got party majority, well then you have the power to kick whomever doesn't meet your standards. Random party though? slog through and better luck next time, or take your abandonment debuff and find something 'better" to do if you can't stand it.It adds up. DF is the cafeteria, take what you get on your plate , eat it and move on. Get in line again if you wanna retry for the better piece of chicken.
PF is the restaurant, order what you want and complain if it doesn't meet standards.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
