Why can't we sub for 3 months at a time using the Entry monthly payment?

I don't want more than one character on a server. Why should I have to pay for having up to 8 if I want to have a sub be paid for more than one month at a time?

I don't even care if I don't get a damn discount for only having the Entry subscription, I'd rather pay for three damn months at a time instead of being forced to one at a time. I can't get the current 'special airship mount' event thing going on because of this.

I've been subbed since day one of the game being launched, and only ever took a single month long break. I can afford a certain amount per month on average, usually my monthly payment ($12.99/mo for XIV, and a little bit elsewhere), but the fact that I can't just pay for three months at a time unless I sign up for other things I do not want to use.

Yes you can. you'll get it after paying for 3 months. 3 months = July, August and September. As per the fly the falcon campaign notice

If you meet the requirements by the end of September, the mount will be sent to you on or after Thursday, October 5 via the moogle delivery service.

Therefore you will get yours in October (fyi, that's when i get mine too)

That still doesn't ignore that we can't sub for more than one month at a time with the Entry level sub. Like I said, I don't care if I get a discount, I'd prefer to pay for three months at a time.

And why can't they have something that gives us a notice that we'll be able to get it visually? You just have to 'trust' you'll get it, in which I've had issues with that kind of stuff in the past.

If you don't care about getting a discount, why not just change to a standard sub? It's a $1 difference per month. Regardless, your alternatives are to sub for six months or purchase game time cards. Both will count towards the mount immediately.

If you can swing it and pay for 6 months at a time you can get the $12.99 price for the standard subscriotion which is same price as the entry one. This is what I do.
