Game crashes with DX/Driver error or pink squares on both screens.

Date & Time: Every time i play (Latest was 5:30PM PST on 9/3/2017)

    Frequency: Every time i play

    World name: Brynhildr

    Character name: Asrah Xai

    Class/Level: Level 66 SAM

    Party or solo: Both
In-game time: I dont recall cause i dont check and the issue comes up so suddenly i dont get the chance to get that info

    Area and coordinates: Any

    Steps:
    1. Log in
    2. Do anything
    3. Game crashes with a DX Error, or crashes so aggressively it causes pink squares on both my displays
    4. Unfortunately, Event Viewer/DXdiag/etc dont give any useful information for this. Event viewer just says the driver crashes. When i get the pink squares, the computer sometimes plays audio for 2-3 seconds, then completely freezes and must be powered off by holding the power button or turning the PSU switch off and on again, but no info is logged in Event Viewer, and theres no crash dump file to look through. DXDiag mentions some error text, but i have no idea what the error codes mean. I imagine they are related to the driver crashes. These errors occur in the same manners and in the same frequencies in DX11 AND DX9. I repeat, playing in DX9 did NOT lower the amount of crashes, nor the severity of them.

    Updating GFX Drivers.
    Clean Installing GFX Drivers.
Setting PCI Express Link Power Manager in Power Options to OFF.
Removing the overclock on my GFX Card.
Switched my GPU to another PCIE slot
Changed GFX cards, still occurs on the GTX 760 that i have laying around.
Changed graphics settins to application controlled in NVIDIA control panel.
    Clean installed FFXIV and updates.
    Clean installing Direct X
Clean installing all peripheral related drivers and software
Clean installed Windows 8.1 into a different drive, even using different SATA cables.

I cannot play the game for more than a couple moments before a simple DX crash (11000002 error code), or the error that requires i power down the PC with the PSU switch (pink squares).

Every other game is fine. I loaded up a couple other MMO's (unnamed for obvious reasons), they ran fine for the half hour or so i played them. Suddenly load up FF14 again, basically instant pink squares upon loading into the world. My PC being OC'd is 100% irrelevant to having the error. Though, i did undo the OC's to do a test run. Same crash types, same short runtime, same pink squares in 1 of 2 tests. Out of the 12 total crashes ive had, 6 have been simple DX error windows and the client closing, other 6 have required i turn the PSU off and back on to regain use of my PC. Thats inexcusable, especially since other community forums have plenty of mentions of this being an issue.

The Azim Steppes>The Dawn Throne is where it consistently started crashing. I played for almost 2 hours last night in some dungeons with my FC. Tried going back to The Dawn Throne to do my MSQ stuff. Crashed within 10 minutes. Now no matter what i do, or where i do it, its guaranteed to crash the driver, and then cause the pink squares on both screens. Sometimes it doesnt show a driver/DX crash notification, just goes straight to the squares

I did a driver wipe and reinstall, ditto for DirectX, and the client. This is a client error, not a hardware error. Ive done multiple benchmarks (Unigine Valley, 3DMark FireStrike, Aida64, Prime95) and played multiple games for hours (unnamed due to advertising rules) theres been 0 errors, 0 crashes. No error logs in event viewer from any of those. Since theres basically no information to be gained from any diagnostic tools, about FF14, theres nothing going on in Windows or with my hardware thats causing this (the DX errors are logged in event viewer, but the DX errors and driver crashes dont happen with any other games or benchmarks, so its not a windows, driver, or hardware related error. Its definitely FF14 thats at fault). Its a sudden, and very fatal crash in FF14 that cant be recovered from at a software level. Theres nothing i can do about this, and its honestly wasting my subscription time, and thus my money. A replacement of lost time would be appreciated once this is taken care of.
