Why Do You Play A Lalafell?

My favorite race is the lalafell. I find them to be a cute race who bring a smile to my face. Their emotes brighten my day.

As a sufferer of chronic major depression, just playing one helps me deal with my feelings. Say what you will but a laughing lalafell is virtual Zoloft.

Being small, I'm non-threatening to players who suffer from social anxiety. Players wish to sit and talk when I'm on. It's a good feeling knowing I'm the person people want to be with when they are lonely or down.

I also like how good many outfits look on us. We may have different proportions than the tall folk but we definitely corner the adorable market.

There's a lot more but I'd like to hear from you! Why do you play a lalafell?

I played Miqote for the longest time and never thought I'd fantasia but I did.
I don't really have a good reason like OP but I just like the idea of a small character being able to do things that are impossible, because realistically a Lallafell would have no chance at blocking a Dreadnoughts swipe but somehow they do! It's just silly stuff like that. Plus yes, they are cute. There's a bit of a stigma towards lalafell players but all races seem to have their stereotypes.

Even a Roegadyn wouldn't 'realistically' stand a chance against a semi-truck's worth of steel clotheslining it.

I'll never understand how a 6 foot man vs a 400 foot dragon is 'fine', but a 300 foot dragon vs a 3 foot man isn't.

I'm not sure of this either. People would argue about gnomes being too small to tank in WoW and others would bring up your point.

It all comes done to an optical illusion regarding the size of the gnome versus a big creature. Things look more intimidating when you're tiny but logically that extra 3 foot in height would not affect the combat at all.

Anywho... Yasuhiro was just expressing her thoughts regarding lalafell. Let's not get bogged down because that viewpoint differs from your own. You both like being a lalafell. That's the important thing here.

I have a lalafeel-alt, but only to use his inventory... so he got named Dobby and with that lalafell was the obvious choice.
Each time I log on with him I realise I cant play a lalafell though - camera waaaay to close to the ground (specially when you're used to a Roe)

But reading the OP made me remember that - even if I make the usual joke about lalafells biting ones ankle from time to time - each time I do feel sad I find one of my lalafell friends and ask permissing to just hug them or pet one of their mounts (God, this lala-lion is cute! Every lalafell needs to level up paladin and get that lion!). Does make me feel better sometimes - so, stay strong little friends! (And out of my kitchen if you dont want to end up in the frying pan - sorry, bad habits...)
