Happy Valentione's Day?

Hey everyone....pretty much a new player to the FFXIV community here. I've been going at it on my own for a good month or so but the more I play the more I'm wishing I was in contact with some others that are playing as well. I'm still slowly getting along through the main line of ARR while getting distracted time after time along the way, lol.

So this past weekend I was enjoying the Valentione's Day event...figured I hate the real holiday so much so maybe I'd enjoy the fake one! Well my first shot at the maze resulted in the person I was paired up with in not so nice of words informing me that I'm a scrub, haha. Then it was on to the fortune telling portion of the event. Oops...you actually have to know someone and I've made zero effort to involve myself to that extent. So here it is. Putting myself out there. Hoping that maybe somebody that's still adventuring their way through ARR and isn't in any real hurry wouldn't mind a friend for the journey.

you don't have to know anyone you can shout for a person to pair up with you. The fortunes go off Grand Company joined, race, job and I think one of them also uses the birthday you chose for your character.
