Think of it like this:
You beat Savage? Here's your reward! [Ultimate lands on top of Static group]

If it makes you feel better... just treat it as the 5th floor of omega... because you know.... THE SAME EXACT PROCESS IS IN PLACE WITH EVERY RAID TIER... you have to beat floor 1 to get to floor 2... you have to beat floor 2 to get to floor 3... you have to beat floor 3 to get to floor 4... you have to beat floor 4 to get to BEYOND SAVAGE. if you don't see the logic behind gating the beyond savage fight then you are blind.
If you can't beat the gate, there's a 95% chance you wouldn't be able to beat Ultimate Savage either, so why is it a bad thing?
To me it seems like absolutely 100% the right move.
We need more high end content.

I personally think the better way is to make the current savage modes harder than create another new hard mode. Because for the people who can't clear the raids due to (can't find static, time etc) will clear it come next expansion now they will have more things to clear and the hardest part is finding people who would want to clear old content. But then again, as long is this will keep the game alive lets hope for the best

It's a baseline they expect the player base to meet, much like ilvl requirements for some bits of content, only this requirement is more involved. It's fine as it is.
No one said Savage content isn't allowed lol. Anyone is free to try. Most people can clear o1s and o2s easily in party finder. Takes some practice and time to clear o3s and takes more time and patience to clear o4s. See how it is in sequence order? And the next ones will be this Ultimate Savage. Get the point? Your thread is pointless and simply trying to cause unnecessary drama in the community. So does this mean that for example disabled people who have a cognitive disorder should never be able to do Savage content because they will never be able to clear it anyway and they have no business being there? It's a very poor argument. It makes no difference if people can or can't clear it. It harms absolutely nobody that they can have a taste of the content regardless.
Please be nice to everyone and remember this is only a game.
This. Nailed it right in the head.No one said Savage content isn't allowed lol. Anyone is free to try. Most people can clear o1s and o2s easily in party finder. I had to make an account just to point out how freaking ridiculous this topic is and i really hope the one that created it is just trolling.
You have your casual content that you have months to bash your head at if you're not up to the challenge or are unable to clear with randoms on a weekly basis, even then you can eventually outlevel it and just clear it by sheer brute force, congrats you enjoyed the content to its... fullest?
Meanwhile they've been talking about this super hard content for the top percentile players to challenge themselves instead of clearing on the first 2 weeks and then unsubbing because the casual content you enjoy isn't enough for them, and you whine about it because it excludes other people?
How deluded are you, how sheltered is your life that you feel you're entitled to everything? jfc...
i really hope this is a troll topic and you're just joking and people don't actually think the way the topic creator thinks...
As someone who is considered disabled in a way, I find it absolutely appalling that you are using the disability excuse in order to make it accessible to everyone. We're not some kind of token to make your point come across better. If anything, knowing that there's something harder than the current raid tier being available will motivate me even more, as I as a person enjoy being challenged. Something which isn't uncommon to people in general and no less in the disability I fall under.
If people can't handle the taste of O4S, then they have no business in Ultimate. It's been said over and over at this point but it's true. Games also often lock the hardest difficulties behind the already hard modes, requiring you to go at least once through what is considered the second hardest difficulty. In this case, it's no different.
