It's like complaining that current EX primals are locked behind MSQ - it's fine you have to do MSQ for them because if you can't manage Shinryu what business do you have with Lakshmi and Susie EX?

Really? You want to do Ex trials beat normal first, you want to do O2 beat O1 first etc. It's the same with this kill O4 you get to fight the next challenge. This is what the game should be like, more endgame challenges, longer lasting content, rewards and gear lasting longer before needing upgrade etc. Perfect example of this was the relic armour I only wore it for a few hours it's stupid.

I have never understood why the ilvl needs to go up every time a new piece of content is added. I mean 11 managed it for years staying at 50 and still had endgame content at various degrees of difficulty. Including bosses that were virtually undefeatable with super rewards ( Pandemonium Warden / Absolute Virtue). It would be great to have pieces of gear that you go WOW where the f did you get that from. Instead of oh nice glam.

Sometimes I think where are all the gamers these days. The players who would keep trying until they beat the thing regardless if it took 1 death or a hundred.

Yeah it worked in XI for years. But now? Ilvls. So I hate hearing the argument of "Well they did it before". Sure it did, and it was great for it's time. But it wouldn't work anymore.

There's a simple reason people who can't beat o4s can't enter ultimate: You have no business being there.
O4S is not a cakewalk. If you can't beat O4S you have no business trying something designed to be harder.
You want the experience, you put in the work. Nothing worthwhile is free or easy.
